Toyota Raize JDM is 5 star JNCAP kek

https://www.stratagemmarketinsights.com/new...p-crash-test-69

I'm not defending toyota, but we want to know why is there big discrepancy with Latin NCAP?
*
i guess look at the way they do crash test

for me, i only recognize 2 kind of crash test...NCAP and NHTSA

raize and ativa..aren't both of them the same car?
JNCAP can get 5 star is because u can't even drive fast in JP...here also actually is but nobody is following the rules only laugh.gif

then can someone highlight the JNCAP vs Latin NCAP the test procedures like the speed etc on how they conduct the test as well as how they evaluate the result?

Can't drive fast in JP is entirely unrelated stuff to official crash testing

if u ask me, active ones are completely useless....it's not there to save your live but more like trying to avoid it and it doesn't 100% work all the time
and there is no absolute way to test that it work as well.....like those funny video of people testing the active system end up kena langgar laugh.gif

so pay attention is actually more useful than passive, i'm more supportive on the passive side

I think both plays their role at different stages of an accident. Active prevents accidents, passive prevent injuries. Both save lives at different phase of an accident.

sorry, terbalik
i'm supportive of passive > active

active ones are all electronics and no guarantee would work

Looks both use the same protocols, ie. 64kmh and 50kmh.
Reports here:
https://www.latinncap.com/en/result/182/toy...ize-+-2-airbags
https://www.aseancap.org/result/5337

That said, the ASEAN version had full airbags. Also we do not know if the latin version of the car uses different materials or builds standards. Different markets have different quality levels.

Yes, electronic is dependent on the systems set up. Best is avoidance, drive carefully and defensive driving.
