QUOTE(angelgemini @ Sep 5 2024, 11:44 AM) what you pay what you get. our cars are NOT cheapthat the rules. why become dumping ground? cause we demand cheap car. then to meet that price range = cut cost. also never forget local tax pay apart to the car price. your car tax is partly used to subsidies the petrol and road maintaining. imagine u pay peanut to the roadtax every year. same price overseas, they're getting better spec car for even cheaper price because they have requirements and regulation on what can be sold there here want to erect lemon law also need to wait until next year, they had it for years already fongsk26 liked this post

QUOTE(angelgemini @ Sep 5 2024, 11:57 AM) is about the car tax, why not?it apply to proton and perodua also. is around 30% tax for them. so manufacturer need to cut the 30% quality to meet the price. if put the regulation also. 100k car will become 130k, u ok to buy? it's about your safety what you just said and refuse to buy is the same mentality as buying and driving a BMW but put on linglong tyres This post has been edited by MR_alien: Sep 5 2024, 12:00 PM |

QUOTE(fongsk26 @ Sep 5 2024, 12:11 PM) I think lemon law and this low NCAP is quite irrelevant. Lemon laws are for defective units. Any defective cars due to assembly quality is under lemon law. both don't have connection but both have to co-existNCAP is more safety performance of the car. I am not a car expert but this is my take. do u noticed there are more and more cases of defective cars lately in MY? just today already got one fongsk26 liked this post

QUOTE(terradrive @ Sep 5 2024, 12:28 PM) Toyota Raize JDM is 5 star JNCAP kek i guess look at the way they do crash testhttps://www.stratagemmarketinsights.com/new...p-crash-test-69 I'm not defending toyota, but we want to know why is there big discrepancy with Latin NCAP? for me, i only recognize 2 kind of crash test...NCAP and NHTSA raize and ativa..aren't both of them the same car? JNCAP can get 5 star is because u can't even drive fast in JP...here also actually is but nobody is following the rules only This post has been edited by MR_alien: Sep 5 2024, 12:54 PM |

QUOTE(fongsk26 @ Sep 5 2024, 02:47 PM) Difference standards … also ativa has full sets of active and passive, I suppose. Basic cards re same but accessories for safety is different if u ask me, active ones are completely useless....it's not there to save your live but more like trying to avoid it and it doesn't 100% work all the timeand there is no absolute way to test that it work as well.....like those funny video of people testing the active system end up kena langgar so pay attention is actually more useful than passive, i'm more supportive on the passive side This post has been edited by MR_alien: Sep 5 2024, 03:17 PM |

QUOTE(fongsk26 @ Sep 5 2024, 03:08 PM) I think both plays their role at different stages of an accident. Active prevents accidents, passive prevent injuries. Both save lives at different phase of an accident. sorry, terbaliki'm supportive of passive > active active ones are all electronics and no guarantee would work |
