now where are those perodua hardcore supporters that say perodua is actually safe....5 star ANCAP proves that it's safe

and it's tougher than proton's 4 star rclxub.gif

my hand, my eyes and ears are not lying to me

ativa asean ncap 5 stars latin ncap 1 star

so extreme difference?
*
there's a reason ASEAN models are not sold elsewhere other than within asean...it's crap car dumping ground

even brunei is driving JDM/USDM spec car

said it before if possible, i want anthony loke to act up and demand car makers to sell quality cars here
set a standard rule, minumum requirement like what EU is doing

what you pay what you get.

that the rules.

why become dumping ground? cause we demand cheap car.
then to meet that price range = cut cost.
also never forget local tax pay apart to the car price.

your car tax is partly used to subsidies the petrol and road maintaining.

imagine u pay peanut to the roadtax every year.
*
our cars are NOT cheap
same price overseas, they're getting better spec car for even cheaper price because they have requirements and regulation on what can be sold there

here want to erect lemon law also need to wait until next year, they had it for years already

is about the car tax,

it apply to proton and perodua also.
is around 30% tax for them.

so manufacturer need to cut the 30% quality to meet the price.

if put the regulation also.

100k car will become 130k, u ok to buy?
*
why not?
it's about your safety

what you just said and refuse to buy is the same mentality as buying and driving a BMW but put on linglong tyres rclxub.gif

I think lemon law and this low NCAP is quite irrelevant.  Lemon laws are for defective units.  Any defective cars due to assembly quality is under lemon law.
NCAP is more safety performance of the car.  I am not a car expert but this is my take.
*
both don't have connection but both have to co-exist

do u noticed there are more and more cases of defective cars lately in MY? laugh.gif
just today already got one

Toyota Raize JDM is 5 star JNCAP kek

https://www.stratagemmarketinsights.com/new...p-crash-test-69

I'm not defending toyota, but we want to know why is there big discrepancy with Latin NCAP?
*
i guess look at the way they do crash test

for me, i only recognize 2 kind of crash test...NCAP and NHTSA

raize and ativa..aren't both of them the same car?
JNCAP can get 5 star is because u can't even drive fast in JP...here also actually is but nobody is following the rules only laugh.gif

Difference standards … also ativa has full sets of active and passive, I suppose.  Basic cards re same but accessories for safety is different
*
if u ask me, active ones are completely useless....it's not there to save your live but more like trying to avoid it and it doesn't 100% work all the time
and there is no absolute way to test that it work as well.....like those funny video of people testing the active system end up kena langgar laugh.gif

so pay attention is actually more useful than passive, i'm more supportive on the passive side

I think both plays their role at different stages of an accident.  Active prevents accidents, passive prevent injuries.  Both save lives at different phase of an accident.

sorry, terbalik
i'm supportive of passive > active

active ones are all electronics and no guarantee would work
