Toyota, Honda, Daihatsu, Perodua all make unsafe 3rd world cars to be sold in water fish countries like Malaysia. But its ok because this is what Malaysian consumers want. They don't want a safer car, they only want good RV, so they are willing to risk the lives of their family. Wife, kids, father, mother die in a simple car crash which better cars can survive never mind, most important is RV.

there's a reason ASEAN models are not sold elsewhere other than within asean...it's crap car dumping ground

even brunei is driving JDM/USDM spec car

said it before if possible, i want anthony loke to act up and demand car makers to sell quality cars here

Not so sure about that. So far, there has not been any major accidents due to these failures from Ativa, resulting from safe driving la.. if drive like F1, then they ask for it la.

I think lemon law and this low NCAP is quite irrelevant. Lemon laws are for defective units. Any defective cars due to assembly quality is under lemon law.
NCAP is more safety performance of the car. I am not a car expert but this is my take.

i trust Latin NCAP.
