wondering for those are holding an AMEX platinum, does your annual pay/salary really = RM120K?

It's weird because when I indicated I'll cancel my card, Amex said, oK.. they'll allow me to cancel my card.  They didn't offer to waive my RM800 so I went ahead to make that payment (that was last year when I initially got the card)

I sure hope they be able to waive it for me this year though - but like U said, better find a way out first

I did contact the CS when I saw the RM800 AF charged to my bill about 2 months after I got the card; but they didn't want to waive it off for me.  I told them I'd applied for the Gold card but they'd sent me the Platinum instead and if the RM800 cannot be waived then I don't want the card.  Their respond to me (and I even have it in writing) is that they will cancel the existing Platinum card.  No waiver was ever given to me!! *hmph*

The bad thing about paying through Amex is that you either walk into the Maxis centre to make the payment or do a direct debit.  Cannot pay via Online Payment!!

Oh U can ah?! Now I didn't know that.. but paying by phone would mean I need to give the person on the line my CC number + CCV number, right?!  Doing that once a month doesn't make the card too secured!

I contacted Amex this morning to check on the payment of utility bills via phone.  Apparently, it's not allowed.  The only way to pay is either through auto direct debit or to walk into the merchant

Dozz, when you last call them? I called them last Thursday and was informed application approval pending my supp IC  (I faxed them like 1 week before that and the CS handling my case did not receive it and sat on my application) so asked the guy attedning to me on the phone why can't MBB check with Charged Card Dept. Anyway I just called them and my application has been approved yesterday. The CS told me should be getting the card in 2 to 3 days time.

You guys mentioned that CL wil be shared among other MBB CC. Wonder what will be my CL for AMEX Gold CC, because last month applied for MBB Petronas Gold and for income I just filled >RM50K and they only gave me RM20K CL which is fine as how much petrol I can fill. If my AMEX CC Gold share the same CL with my Petronas Card, then it will be the lowest CL I will have, even my RHB Evo and Citibank ClearCard has higher CL.

Er.. U never been to the US but U called and ask to make a hotel reservation? hMm.. I'm surprised the rates are as good as that of the internet - well at least now that's an option or avenue.  I could always give it a try but am not travelling for the next few months.
