I got my cam through Tarita, the prices for the the cam itself are allright but after you get the cam they'll try all kinds of funny tricks to sell you heavily marked up accessories.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOTTT BUY ANY ACCESSORIES FROM TARITA THEY MARK IT UP BY LIKE 100%.

Not only Tarita , it applies to Bintang Maju aswell.

lol.. after I bought my 40x from them the fella tried to sell me a Cokin UV filter for the kit lens for around RM150. What he did was he tried to cover the price on the tag telling me to "trust him it's a huge discount". When I tried to tell him that I could get a Hoya filter for less he tried to convince me that Cokin was better than Hoya. Later I managed to peek at the price tag for the Cokin and it was marked at around RM260.

I paid RM2430 for the kit + Nikon branded SLR bag + Toshiba 2GB about 4 months ago. Some shops will try to tell you that the bag if sold by itself is worth RM160, I can assure you that the cost price for the bag is less than RM40. Just buy the camera from them and walk out.

Since it's marked around 260 and he sell at rm150 not a good bargain ?

^ Nah, even here in Australia where most camera stuff is like 20% more expensive I can still get it for less than RM100.

Yeah, even though I'm in KK here, but I oftenly heard positive feedbacks of YL Camera and J-One these two camera shops. Maybe you can try surveying there.
