They are different thing, which one can produce better pic? obviously the DSLR.  well to be honest, handphone camera's are nearing a stage where they can replace DC's. those that are used primarily for candid shots or once-in-a-lifetime events where the DC is left at home. however, handphone camera's can NEVER beat DSLR's for their sharpness and detail. don't bother to compare stuff at different level.
the cost of a dslr lens can get you a few handphones. though your dslr cant make a phone call.
