I used to feel proud about the multiracial and multicultural aspect of Malaysia when I was a kid. So sad it has become like this.

today i went to temple and i saw a group of islam tourists, very likely from middle east because of the features.

so the tour guide explained about the temple's story, then the tourist ask what are those containers with sticks for? why are the visitors shaking the containers with sticks?

upon explaining, they got curious and started to shake the sticks and get their predictions.

luckily, it happened in chinese temple, if not a lot pembaris later.

end of story.

Did those Muslims not get confused and suddenly wanted to be Buddhists?? Or is that affliction only prevalent among Malaysians?

In Sarawak, I attended one friend wedding at church, he invited his friends and relatives. Muslims and Christians.

Wow, so much toleration.

A family of Muslims and Chrisitans.

I love Sarawak semangat muhibbah.

Hate Pastard divide the people with their rubbish

Will it remain like that in 20 years?

If it is, seems like a good Plan B for those who can't escape to the West. 😁

saya pun tak tau la... i saw the ladies pakai hijab and also excited with shacking the sticks.

maybe its an eye opening thing to them or maybe they thought it was just a cultural thing.

The organiser of the Hungry Ghost Festival in Kemaman, Terengganu, has put up banners prohibiting Muslims from entering the venue.

This is after a temple in Kuala Terengganu was not granted an exemption for women to perform at a celebration event for the festival due to it being in an open space.

I was already very very confused when suddenly PAS said the temple cannot hire lady performers.

1. Why the fuck do they bother when this celebration is not for them? Nobody invited them.
2. Almost all of these hungry ghost festival prayer and performances are done outside of temple grounds, especially on car parks, empty land & stretches of roads. That's because temples are too small to setup the stage and audience floor.
3. Every year you can see giant tents, idol statues, giant dragon colok, chairs arranged for audiences in a concert format, bungalows in paper form, etc.. I was surprised when there were forumers asking if this event is usually inside or outside temple?
4. I was even more surprised when some forumers said "ohhh outside temple, of course cannot la" when this has been ongoing since decades ago.

We rakyat have no issue in my opinion.

Muslim do their thing, Non-Muslim do their thing, all happy.

If a Muslim want come also I don't think anyone care, Muslim can learn about other people's culture without murtad instantly.

But certain people not happy when we are happy.

I see we are more afraid of religious authorities compared to Islam itself.
