Can a normal / healthy person walk 50,000 steps each day for 5 days straight while traveling?

Or is it better to adopt alternate days?

Which means one day 50K steps then next day mostly rest at hotel / hangout at areas nearby hotel.

For me personally I can do like 30K steps per day but next day will feel fatigue due to long walks from previous day.

If wanna do consecutive days long walks then it's consider pushing myself mentally / spiritually and that could be unhealthy as well.

I think people or soldiers in the past easily walked 50,000 steps per day just to go somewhere if they don’t have a horse.

If not fit better don’t push yourself. Going for a holiday is to relax not punish yourself.

Why stop at 50k steps a day? I always do 200 km runs in 3 days whenever I'm on holiday to ensure that I'm in tip top shape. Follow this up with a light 90 km cycling session to cool myself down and relax

But some travel mates can be toxic as hell.

Need to wake up very early like 5am, then drove somewhere jalan2 walk till evening.

Go back hotel for shower during evening and rest for 30mins then must go out again at night continue to cover as many tourist destinations as possible until midnight.

Repeat that for 5 days.

50k per day is tolling and not fun for traveling.

Just chill and relax alternate days

its doable but average people generally 20-30k steps will terasa next day

however if youre those folks who exercise alot especially running or hiking, the fatigue wont accumulate that fast

Too much for average people. 20k should be acceptable.

Near impossible to do 50k steps per day.

Unless u don't take public transport at all & just walk.

I'm clocking 20k steps everyday during work. I will not clock more during a holiday.

Unless your main objective of the trip is to hike for example, in Nepal or New Zealand etc or a destination that requires some walking even though you’re driving then just a waste of energy.

50k is too much. I wouldn't travel with those friends lol. 10-20k would be just nice. Otherwise no fun. If go hiking destinations also will only do hikes alternate days. Need to rest and relax also.
