QUOTE(Icehart @ Oct 8 2024, 08:03 AM) Case quality is good, but cut out tak syiok...QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 8 2024, 09:47 AM) I'm currently using the Apple Silicone case. I quite like it. Camera control is good but I haven't used it much. The case is not that grippy. The silicone is quite smooth (say when compared to the TPU sides on other cases) so it moves/slides in my palm a bit. But not too bad. Last Friday I tried friend's case, quite ok with it and less slippery than I expected. Hence placed my order for Denim |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Oct 9 2024, 02:25 AM) So the recommended TG without black border is Spigen?https://my.shp.ee/qzSNXmA This is it right? The install jig doesn’t seem to be the usual dust free type, how is it? Second the other brand called Amazing Thing refers to this? https://my.shp.ee/7trpjzZ Radix Supreme? QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 9 2024, 02:14 PM) That's why I never install any SP myself, usually the shop or my sister will do it. She does a good job for the whole family's devices but I was in KL that time, so I got Machines to do it for me. Tapi if install by shop... can replace sampai cantik... I would do the same akash liked this post

QUOTE(bizness @ Oct 9 2024, 02:33 PM) Ouch, which tap broke? The one holding the tempered glass on the installation kit? Did you check out the installation video - you need to pull the sticker down abit and insert to the bottom before installation. So far installed three of them myself and it has been the easiest for me so far. Perfect alignment, just need to find the right moment to apply it for a dust free application. Haha But gotta agree, the best is to ask Machines or Switch to install. Can replace if they screw it up. I did exactly like this, the one you pull one broke off at the screen area. akash liked this post

QUOTE(bizness @ Oct 9 2024, 04:00 PM) Ours is considered lite installer and the method is slightly different. We need to pull down the sticker and go through the bottom of the installer (this will slightly lift the top part of the tempered glass), then only you put it on your phone. Ohh, the ones for 16 series is like this huh. Mine was for the older phones, my previous experience. Mine is a fully covered top and bottom type.Pay attention to 0:40 seconds onwards. A little tricky, but it works fine for me. Im guessing the top tempered glass didn't lift while you apply it to the phone. And pulling the sticker in such manner will put too much pressure and cause it to tear apart. I may be wrong, just sharing my thoughts. Haha |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 9 2024, 08:20 PM) Hmm, have not asked. Just called my sales person to keep 1 for me, and will be collecting my Apple Silicone case too. Side note, I set my battery limit to 80%. I also used my rare 5W old charger since it’s overnight anyways and surprised to see it went all the way to 100% and it’s also orange color 😀. Not sure why it didn’t respect the 80% or this is one of the calibration charge decided by the OS probably. ![]() |

QUOTE(kevintth @ Oct 10 2024, 11:35 AM) I use 30w adapter... then use Shortcut apps + Tapo smartplug = whenever reach 85% limit.... it will auto switch off the smartplug to cut off electricity to the phone. So no need worry much Yeah, need use this function again. I disabled this cause has the 80% control but… oh well put it back and I see it trips then will charge to 100% next round for calibration purpose. |

Is it dust, as in causing bubble type or just micro lints (no bubble at all). |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Oct 11 2024, 10:36 AM) Tried the Sanpotech Auto Dust Elimination Screen Protector (SP) for the first time, and I’m pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to install. Even beginners can now install the screen protector effortlessly. Mine the black bar blocked all 4 edges of the screen Changing to Amazing Thing tomorrow. |
