Doesn’t matter because I’m an iSheep, so I will still upgrade though I may use it for social medias and banking apps only. Oh ya, camera as well, no matter what other says iPhone cams work the best for me. However, I’m still thinking about to upgrade or not this year.

Though I often go to China, once every few months and check out their phones, I never find their ROMs fascinating. Too heavy and colorful for me.

Same here. My battery lasts one whole day though I only charge up to 80% only. So, charge once a day with normal charging speed (25-30w) works for me.

I think the next bigger leap would be iPhone 18. iPhone 17 Air may be interesting if it ever happens but is still lacking compared to the Pro series.

Wow, 69 cycles since Dec. That's like 12 charges per month or 2.5 days once. Do you even use your phone?

What does it mean? So if use powerbank, it will not be calculated under cycle count?
I also have 80% charge limit but I don't pay attention if I use powerbank, it will add into the cycle count or not.

Yeah, that's what I thought but mine is also a MagSafe powerbank.

It is a generic China-branded one that I bought from Taobao. It's only 5,000 mAh, as I want it to be slim. Not exactly the best one, but it fits my needs in case I need some extra battery juice before I have access to my charger. I only use it when I travel.

Yes, I want something light that I can keep in my pouch or pocket. For me, it’s enough for me though I use the phone to take a lot of photos and videos when I travel. So, that drains my battery quite a lot. I usually go for 90% charge if I travel, other time it’s 80%. This powerbank complements pretty well.

I used to 100% during trips until my most recent trip to China, the iPhone suggested 90% charge based on my usage pattern. So, I accepted the suggestion.

True. The only time I probably need to use a powerbank is when I am travelling or going to concerts. Otherwise, it is not required. Most of time, it is lying around underutilized.

So, what happens? My sister's 15 Pro, bought in May last year, now has a battery life of 91%. While my 16 Pro Max is still 100% now, after 9 months. She is impressed.

She is probably going to switch to the iPhone 17 when it comes out, but not immediately. She wants to get more rebates from online platforms, so she plans to do so in November or December.

Her daughter is using her previous iPhone 12, and she intends to pass her phone to her daughter once she upgrades. However, after seeing her battery life vs mine, she wants to take over my 16PM for her daughter. So, she proposes that I trade in her 15P to Apple, and she will pay me the difference.

Anyway, I have a gift card from Apple that I received earlier for my iPad Mini 6 trade-in. Can I trade in an old iPhone and also use the gift card for an iPhone 17 purchase?
