QUOTE(Jye1986 @ Feb 28 2009, 10:05 PM) LOL, i use all the method as u mention above before.. but it still not working de.. everything i trying to scold him or beat him.. he become more active and trying to fight back looks like u got yourself a dominant or very playful dog! mayb u can apply sum bitter liquid at your foot so he will taste it when he nibbles?this habit's got to b stopped early or else its going to really trouble u later on. everytime when my dog does something i dont like, i will look at him, then look away n walk away, ignoring him.haha...it does work sometimes.mayb u can get a muzzle lock n lock him for a short while when he nibbles u? Really duno how to teach him ler.. |

QUOTE(cutevb19 @ Apr 15 2009, 05:47 PM) hie hie... hi, i think its best to feed goldens with food that is not too high in protein and lower in fat.goldens tend to gain weight easily bcuz they love to eat! if can, feed your dog with better food such as holistic ones.which brand u decide lo. try to get 1 with glucosamine n chrondritin for your golden. most big dogs require it more than smaller ones.its for their joints. thats my 2 cents.. anyone can help her too?could any 1 gif me some option what to feed for golden pup? and also what to feed when they reach adulthood? thanks |

HD stands for Hip Dysplasia. its a hip problem thats commonly found in large breeds. its quite a serious problem where the dog will have weak back legs as they grow older. it is mostly in the dog's genes. so its important to check if the parents of the puppy is free from that problem. u don't want to see your dog having a hard time to move around! and if u do ever get a large breed pls remember to feed him quality food from young. it does make a big difference! and exercise him!
