Yes, my dog sheds a lot, i guess its normal for a GR but my dog shed lesser after changing his food. What food is ur GR eating?

Haha, my dog also likes to destroy all the plants in the garden then we decided not to plant anymore no, mine doesnt bite shoe.. try buying toys and bones for it chew. How old is ur GR?

He's still a puppy, maybe u can try exercise him during the day time, don't let him sleep during day time, make him restless then he will sleep at night. Try different types of bone or a Kong toy, u stuck his favorite treats inside let figure out how to gets it.

Orijen 6fish at first then he has wetty stool then changed it to taste of the wild salmon but he doesnt like it. I tried GO! Salmon and he loves it but currently no stock. Now trying fish4dogs, today first day trying it. GO! Salmon helps a lot in shedding, my dog sheds lesser after taking it.

As shampoo, im not really clear but im using the purple color isle of dog, can get it from any Pet Lover Centre.

What type of fishoil u are giving? Im giving my dog sevenseas lamb is good, some are sensitive to chicken and fish is the best for the coat. Lamb and fish are good for dogs who are sensitive to chicken.

i dont know whether is the right place to ask or not but i hope i can find some answer or guide here

i have a GR, 6 yrs old and im looking for boarding for him for around 2 to 3 months.

im from mainland penang and i used to send him to the usual place but i notice that the owner doesnt really take good care of him eventhough we pay like 700 a month, exclusive food.

everytime we come back, my poor dog became so thin and look depressed. we were heart broken and are trying our best to look for a genuine boarding. we dont mind to pay a lil extra as long as they take care of my GR.

any penangites able to guide me on this? thanks alot

what kinda fungus is that?
my GR had an infection/fungus thingy that went:
1) the fur will drop off
2) the skin will tear open (no because of dog scratch, but infection/fungus "eating")
3) open wound with bleeding

Took her to the vet, then they gave some sort of spray-on medication, spray directly on the affected area and within few days the wound would start to heal and in the end, thankfully she's back to normal

is the fungus still quite serious, like is there serious shedding?
cause you mentioned earlier already 4months on the treatment but no improvement..you should bring to the vet and let them know that the condition is not improving..maybe they have other methods to help

I'm considering to get a gr, but I read too much about the shedding which really worries me a bit. I don't have allergy problem but if it is as per what others said that the hair will stick on food, mouth, cloth, toilet everywhere, then it could be a problem. Is it really that bad? Body odour bad too?

No, i always make sure my dog dont jump, supplements and walk him everyday. Is ur dog suffering from HD? If its serious then u might need to operation...

Have u brought him to the vet? What does the vet says? My GR is hyperactive too, thats why i train him not to greet by jumping everytime im back.. I give glucosamine supplement too. so sorry
