Hi,
Need some help here. Last 3 weeks I brought a puppy GR home.. the 1st few days she's good.. know where to do her business either inside her cage o on a tray which is for my shih tzu but the puppy took it 1st.. then the disaster happen after i change the newspaper on the tray, my puppy like forgot/dunno where to do the business.. she juz simply pee every where it like.. so i start change the plan, juz letting her do her business in the tray only n no longer inside the cage (i juz simply think bcoz of tis).. but after a week still the same.. in the playpen she will go for the tray when it's out she wil did it everywhere.. Wat make me more headache is she will sit n lying on the tray even her pee n poo is on it.. so making his whole body dirty n smelly.. i cant everyday bath it rite? so wat can i do to prevent it to sit n lying on the tray? Btw she's abt 3months old.. This post has been edited by @lice~~: Aug 11 2009, 05:07 PM |

QUOTE(kent75 @ Aug 11 2009, 11:50 PM) Get ready the tray near her business spot. Then be aware when she is gonna do business. When she squad down, then quickly carry her onto the tray. After the business, award her with treat if she did on the right place. I'm still training my 2months old GR with the same way. 1 out of 30 times is success =.= BUt i wont give up so easily ^^ Ya.. i know abt tis.. but i m working so not much time i can spend to monitor it.. wat make me very headache is it sit n lying on her pee n poo.. |

QUOTE(victor87 @ Jul 7 2010, 03:45 PM) Hi, Faster bring ur puppy to vet n check.. I have recently notice my 4 months old Golden Retriever running with lame leg (skipping his right rear leg). If he walk slowly (he hardly will walk, mostly is run here run there), it wont be noticeable. When he starting to run like a mad dog, u have to pay attention to his rear leg only can see him skipping one of his leg. He love to walk and run always. What could have become the problem? I fed him with Orijen since day one i get him, and now it's still eating Orijen. Is this what we called the possible CHD / HD ? Anything i can do with this? And yes, i got Marble floor in my house.. What can i do? Where can i get Glucosamine and chondroitin supplements for my puppy? I love my puppy alot, no matter what happen to him !! as for glucosamine, those we normal human being consume can be consume by dog too.. jz buy the original favor (blue color) |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Nov 7 2010, 03:16 AM) Hey guys, Nice dog u got there seems like this thread is pretty quiet... last post was from Oct 19! Anyway, we just got a goldie, named her Hazel... currently D2 of life in our house (she's 8 weeks and 3 days old) and trying pretty damn hard to potty train her. Problem is she pees almost always unexpectantly... we've put her crate facing the bathroom with the door open so that she will get used to the fact that she can sleep in the crate and eliminate on the bathroom floor... Can't take her out yet coz of incomplete vaccinations Just want to ask for your opinion about 1 thing; Where do you guys keep your goldie? Outside? I'm just worried about my goldie being poisoned, stolen, etc... Anyway, great to join the club [attachmentid=1872292] I keep mine indoor.. since it's my renting house with bad front porch n my housemate doesnt mind so i just keep it indoor n always bring her out for walk.. |

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Nov 15 2010, 05:01 PM) thanks for the feedback guys Hazel is that she knows she has to pee at a certain spot in the bathroom. i leave her there with the cage door opened so she can go in and out and run around the bathroom when we are at work. She pees alright and poos correctly when we are not around problem is when she's outside of the bathroom, she never knows how to get back inside to pee/poo... sigh. i know she ain't stupid coz I taught her how to sit, lie down and shake hand all within a few hours! i can't use puppy pads coz she tears u everything in sight As for biting, u must teach her before too late.. when seeing her tearing the pad or anything, shout at her NO! |
