Think I should restrict her water because she seems to drink water for fun Oops.. i mean tray look like this.. it can "lock" the pad/newspaper.. Besides that, i saw a washable pad in sell.. maybe u can consider it http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1311909&hl=padand dun restrict her from the water drinking.. they jz love water, when she get older she will know how to control it..

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Nov 16 2010, 04:12 PM) so weird that shih tzu is like number 70+ in smartness and GR is number 4, and it's harder to train a GR... LOL yeah trying my best to be patient how old is ur GR now? Added on November 18, 2010, 10:17 ammy golden has not completed her 3 vaccinations (only done 2). We were advised not to put her outside just yet so I've set up a small den for her in the bathroom. It is a rectangular bathroom with a door on the side and another at the beginning. Her cage is put outside the side door (thus it's in the middle) and she usually sleeps near the entrance, and pee/poop at the other end. All is well and good but these days when we go to work (for pretty long hours, she's usually alone from 8-5plus), she will do her business as usual at the toilet end but there have been times when we come home and see her stepped over her poo and dirtied the entire bathroom along with herself... any advise on this? I was thinking of getting a pee pad so it can absorb her pee and at least she will have more space to poo, that is if my theory is correct - she can't poo properly at her spot because the pee is already all over and she doesn't want to step on it on purpose. but how much can a pee pad absorb? My GR is 1 year n 5 months old.. the ranking is for reference, only cant really be used i think shih tzu is just lazy n stubborn to learn new thing but yet they r still very smart dog.. Have more idea on the pee pad.. maybe u try ask in the seller's thread?

QUOTE(Gilthoniel @ Nov 18 2010, 11:05 AM) okay. do u use the pee pad when u r not at home to clean ur GR's wee/poo? Added on November 18, 2010, 3:32 pmI bought a pee tray for Hazel. Lined it with newspaper and kitchen towel. So far I put her in there twice and she peed on it twice but don't know if she will know how to go on it herself Added on November 19, 2010, 6:05 amUPDATE: I bought the pee tray and since starting to use it yesterday at 12pm, Hazel suddenly knows how to go back to the tray herself to wee and poo.... it's like magic! suddenly from accident to housebroken! Congratulation
