Based on this topic...

Under article 5.2 Equipment & Platform Security...

Huawei, ZTE or others Chinese equipment vendors & supplier of 4G, 5G or even 6G might get axed or being reviewed.....

So deployment of 5G by U Mobile could be affected???

Existing Telco equipment vendors & supplier need to be changed too??

Don't think that could happen. If so, no point for second network.

This agreement is one sided one.... So scared with those Chinese vendors.... They said about backdoor holes & security reasons....

Those Western one don't have backdoor holes security issues???? Sure got one... CIA or so is monitoring....

I also said before, sure got backdoor one. Impossible they do not monitor their network equipment and who uses it.

They want to Maintain their super powerhouse of the world... Chinese equipment vendors & manufacturer is challenging their dominance.... Feels insecure 😔

Lately I found that my CelcomDiGi is performing better than Maxis in many parts of Klang Valley

Somehow my Maxis 4G been getting really janky lately

Perhaps I really should consider migrating my main number to CelcomDiGi hmm.gif

This one I agreed....

Ever since the network integration done... It's getting better.... No more dropped calls, less or no blind coverage spots...

Only issues is with 5G.... No choice since it's ride on DNB...

U Mobile can continue to use their existing 5G vendors for deployment.... No official orders from government to stop using them...
