The NASA program was to send 12 people to the moon from 69 to 72. There were 7 mission Apollo 11 to Apollo 17 including one failed mission which is Apollo 13. Public interest faded fast after Apollo 13 thus you never heard much about the rest. So except for the failed one, the rest got astronauts landing on the moon.
