When I stopped to think about it.... It became perhaps.

Sancho is a problem and does not play, sitting on huge wages.
Replacing him with Sterling :

- Retains the English player numbers in the team
- Gets some money for the budget if it is a player plus cash deal
- Reduces the wage bill. No way Sterling is anywhere close to Sancho wages.

I'm not saying Sterling is a good addition to the team. All I am saying is that it looks doable from the Finance department perspective.
