Hahaha.. always the banking app will be the main concern before installing beta IOS. My advice is not to install to your main driver. Based on my experience, sometimes, the app may work in one beta version but then break down in the next one.. so be mindful on this risk.

Dev Beta 3 and Public Beta are much stable now compare to earlier Betas. MAE, Ambank, RHB, myPB and TnG so far so good. By the way, hide apps name will enlarge the icons and applies in the App Library.  FirstDuke liked this post

Guys, I read from the previous iOS 18 betas, indeed RCS needs to be approved by Apple after validation with the Telco. It seems the telcos would get enabled with each public or developer beta. So this scenario is similar to 5G, where we only got it with iOS16.2.
So need to wait for our telco to be validated and enabled through a future firmware update or a carrier update I guess⦠WhatsApp for main communications for now |

What i don't like on iOS 18:
1) the calculator now add backspace, i already used the old "drag from left to right" to delete for a decade d XD 2) Photo App feels messy now 3) Apple TV turn on will show a pop out in my notification area and whenever i play something on iphone, the airplay will prompt me whether i wan play on Apple TV first =.= |

Photo App is indeed a complicated app now.
I am still exploring but yesterday I was editing some videos, the placement of the buttons has changed but it seems easier to access after editing. |

My WiFi calling is not showing up after ios18 update even after I enabled it in the settings. Anyone experiencing this on 15pm maxis?

Yes I did that though itβs not exactly the same as previous version but itβll do for now. However, I do like that it rearranges all my photos according to dates (oldest on top) as I had to import old photos from cloud to my iPhone. I set my iPhone to stop charging at 80% but I noticed it will charge till 81% and today 84% before I unplugged it. Is this normal?
Last two days I changed to 100% as I had to be at outside for the whole day and it has revoked back to 80% before I charge again today. |

Thereβs something seriously wrong with ios18. Twice now I experienced my iPad Air draining on its own to very low levels while plugged in to my charger. It was like 69-70% at the beginning then I turned my charger on set my smart plug to turn off in one hour which would have charge my iPad up to 90-100%. Instead I found it sitting at 10% and the iPad was warm to the touch. What the heck is happening?

Hi guys, anyone using carplay that previously it will auto show now playing whenever phone connect and resume play. But now it will not show now playing screen, altho music will autoplay when connect

Installed ios 18 and messed up with the wallpaper function.
If you swipe left from Home Screen, there is another page (actually can't recall if this page existed before this). Called Today's View or Widget Screen. I accidently set the wallpaper of this page to be Blur. It has the same wallpaper as Home Screen but only that page is set to Blur. Now unable to remove the Blur effect. I have iPad 7th gen and tried to install the IOS 17.7.2 and the IOS 18.1.1 and it didn't do it very well. Since it is only 32gb I had to offload and then eventually uninstall all the bank apps before it can update to 17.7.2. the problem is that MAE i cannot register the secure2u with sms. I called the service centre they said it's because of the ipad model name. It's too long so I don't receive. If I reset my ipad and install 18.1.1 will this fix the problem with MAE? Hi my iphone 13 start flickering when I had update to ios18 how to fix it as before update no issues and my phone had not drop before and is in good condition prior to the updates. It got the wavy things on the display

I'm still on 18.3 too. I hope apple will use swipe left swipe right gestures like Android in the next update. Current swipe back is very difficult to reach by my right thumb. The Fon feels like falling off my hand whenever I tried to swipe back to the previous page.

Another bugs very annoying in iOS is inside the contact app. Let's say I want to search the number 01234567890. But I forgot whether it's 012 or 016, but I can only remember 890, when I key in 890 inside the search contact the app will tell me no results, meaning I must key in 01234567890 to get the correct contact name. This simple bugs don't exist on my cheap realme or flagship Oppo.

If u talking the PHONE alone , yes iphone actually got nothing special when u put on 2025 compared to other brand phone.
BUT !!! If u talking about whole eco system , then only the iphone shine and u can feel the more benefit on it. I asked most of my friends who stil holding both iphone and android and why dont just choose one, 90% answer from them stil holding iphone due to working purpose , wechat history + whatsapp history + 10year++ apps & games purchased , icloud subscription , that make them cant let go. So they choose to own both which is a good choice in my opinion. Like me , besides of work , im on android mostly , the one infrared remote control alone already can blow away , to control my TV , TV box , Air-conditioned, even i went back to my parent house , i dont ever need to find a remote control to turn on-off aircond and TV π , that sick. Another thing is iphone really feel more premium on hand, even though the recent QC isnt that good (my have alittle screen gap on top left and 1 tiny dust on camera) , but have to admit it stil have the best premium feeling among all the brand. Also even after 7 years, you can still use it for another 2-3 years until the apps no longer support those OS versions. |
