Apple plans to use 26 across all of its platforms (the number representing the upcoming year), which will presumably be less confusing than having iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and visionOS 3.

They haven’t renamed iPhones yet just the OS for now.

Actually good idea. Save the trouble and the current versions no across products that are not in sync is difficult to remember.

Even phone should also also be named according to iPad or macbook that using the chipset name to name.

Another bugs very annoying in iOS is inside the contact app. Let's say I want to search the number 01234567890. But I forgot whether it's 012 or 016, but I can only remember 890, when I key in 890 inside the search contact the app will tell me no results, meaning I must key in 01234567890 to get the correct contact name. This simple bugs don't exist on my cheap realme or flagship Oppo.

Bugs are normal for any os, that’s why there is a software update from the manufacturer, it will fix it time to time 🤩❤️
