6500 slide and 5610 XM is almost the same phone.
just the 5610 got music button.
inside almost the same.

I'm using a crystal casing with screen protector. Very fit the phone and my phone just looks new with the casing on.

Ermm, my sis just got her 6500 slide around 2 weeks ago.
And after i test it, i found out there are some problems.

1. When i take picture, it takes around 6-7 seconds to load.
2. Yesterday after finish playing with the phone, it did not go to power saver mode. The screen just stay on, bright until I on/off the phone. Then it goes back to lock mode after idle for awhile.

Is there any solution for problem 1? and is problem 2 a serious problem?

this phone problems is the memory card there. there is a connector to the memory card holder, cause it sometimes cant see the memory card details

Yes , its true, even Zitron & AP set got same problem with memory card connector.
Not detect memory card...

Customer are recommend to test & check memory card either detect or not.

6500 are better than 5610 because have Carls Zeiss Lens, TV Out & The Body of the phone
are feel very......

last time already tiao by a customer... luckily he is understanding... in the end, the supplier change a new one to him(of course his phone not scratch lar..)

cannot be upgraded ones bro...

eh why cannot?
if update the firmware, can use Nokia Software Updater (NSU)
download-able from Nokia website

if upgrade firmware to be a s60 phone..confirm cannot

is i know is can upgrade stil s60 firmware.
i just wan to know s40 can upgrade version o not.
cos im not sure it can use by NSU o not.
cos my fren 6500 always crazy..
always set the ringing tone..
after that will miss out again..
dunno wat happen..so i ask him upgrade his firmware.

the latest firmware is 4.81

try putting the ringtone in the phone memory, not the memory card.
many seems to solve the bug by doing this

I jus bought my nokia 6500 slide few days ago. So far is ok wit me. But just now something weird happen with it. When I make a call, I can't heard the recipient talking. Anyone experience this???

my phone so far no prob, but i facing same prob with u when using motorola phone, try to restart phone....if still cannot hear the recipient sound then it must b speaker problem

that is what i mean la. cannot upgrade from s40 to s60 lar....

use sandisk original micro. can go to garage sales there to find it

i know can upgrade. only to newer version. to s60 sure cannot.

maybe your speaker got problem already. its always? if its always then sure is speaker problem. if sometimes only maybe the telco problem. have experience this before...
