hey..i need help..i am using msi 8800gt but i couldn overclock it..when ever i try to oc it...the screen will freeze....the prob is i am not using stock cooler...i am using HR 03 GT...suppose i could oc it kao kao...pls help...10s ya...

could be driver problem... try with other driver.... last time i experience this with 7800GS EE

other driver?i thought the latest driver should fix it.... ish..thought with HR 03 GT i could oc it kao kao..now i couldn even oc it!!!...the temp 4 my 8800 gt is 45C

not always the latest = the best.....try afew previous driver.... HR03GT is gigantic... if dont get 45 then sad... mine is 49'c with asus 800GT TOP stock glaciator cooler...

How is it? It seems the review is true about E6750 is slightly better compared to Q6600... coz my Q6600 SM2.0 and SM3.0 score lose to my E6750 score even at same GC clock speed.

u are using pentium 4? and ddr400 with 8800GT??? u are just wasting the 8800GT performance. ur p4 and ram and maybe ur IDE HDD too will drag down ur 8800GT performance... dont use ur money to get cooler.... use ur money to upgrade 1st....

advised to change to better 1... c2s E4xxx, SATA2, and ddr677 at least.

there is still alot of room for oc. but i haven't changed my cooler yet.

i'll be back with a new score once i get new coolers which are difficult to get locally.

u mean ur GC or CPU have alot of room to OC..... Q6600 at 3.6ghz is extreme already.... Zzzzzzz i feel dont have much rooms to OC anymore... unless u wanna take high risk

i only slightly oc my gc, so there is alot of room to oc my gc and i didn't even volt mod my gc also. no point oc my gc with stock fan. it's too useless even on 100%.

actually, my cpu has a little more room to oc
getting new mobo and new cooler. right now just waiting for the cpu cooler.

Plan to buy 8800GT but confius, can my Acbel iPower 450W handle this GC well?

by refering to ur rig u using now in ur signature.... ur acbel 450w shud be change when u get 8800GT.... anyway how many Ampere u have on a single +12V rail...
for me i will change to prevent instability or even dmg to the hardware.....

can dont worry..
i used my power hungry x1950xt with that psu..
fyi.. in terms of power consumption x1950xt >>> 8800gt
