QUOTE(vincentlaw @ Feb 11 2008, 11:06 PM) u mean ur GC or CPU have alot of room to OC..... Q6600 at 3.6ghz is extreme already.... Zzzzzzz i feel dont have much rooms to OC anymore... unless u wanna take high risk i only slightly oc my gc, so there is alot of room to oc my gc and i didn't even volt mod my gc also. no point oc my gc with stock fan. it's too useless even on 100%.actually, my cpu has a little more room to oc getting new mobo and new cooler. right now just waiting for the cpu cooler. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Nov 23 2007, 08:03 PM) not yet i'm looking at the xfx ADE XXX bios, the clocks are lower than the SSC. how is that better?both cards has been flashed to a better bios than the ssc.. the xfx ADE XXX... y better the ADE XXX bios doesnt suffer the problem of depreciating performance when u keep overclocking even though its artiact free... the SSC has that bug... the ADE XXX bios are newer. test it.. it was debated quite heavily in XS.. when you say the performance depreciates, then it's pointless to overclock to a frequency that has the same performance on a lower frequency. hence, futile... QUOTE(r4st4m4n @ Mar 1 2008, 01:50 PM) My memory doesn't overclock very well. For the moment I leave it at 950MHz (1800MHz) in order to make sure that it won't give me instability. Once I found the max on the core and the shaders, I'll OC the memory. rofl this guy is funny But from the first result I have, it seems the memory is unstable over 993MHz (1986MHz). It is slightly under the result I had with the stock cooler (1000+MHz). It might be due to the 2 memory chips under the HR-03 GT heatpipes. The heatsink provided for them are tiny because the heatpipes are just on top of them, so maybe the cooling capacity is slightly worse than with the stock cooler. It doesn't really matter since the performance increase when OCing the memory by few MHz is barely noticeable. 800 MHz is definitely possible, the hr-03 GT can handle the heat easily. From my first testings, I think I should be able to do around 840MHz core and 2100 MHz shaders at 1.3V and it should be fully stable in games. the first memory clock value was incorrect but then he got the second memory value correct..wtf..lol |

QUOTE(wiNd @ Apr 21 2008, 04:18 PM) what card? stock cooling? stock cooler cant even idle at 49c man if i use ATItool scan artifacts...it can go up to 72c load. let me be more clear, i overclocked mine to 750 core / 990memory / 1750 shader scan for artifacts using atitool for 10minutes with 49c of max temperature |

QUOTE(mizivincible @ Apr 25 2008, 03:18 PM) Haha later if something happen then I have to use my integrated for a long time haha. Better wait for someone who owns this card to explain first. if anything happens, you can always RMA it Edit : Im able to run 650/2000/1625 already and stress it for almost 8 hours without fail ( The reason I stress so long is I was asleep last nite so forgot to turn off ATItool during stressing) haha. |
