Seeing how psg dismantle teams all the way to final and thrasing inter 5-0, I think it's a testament to how strong is us that we only lose to them on penalties.

Yes, in term of scoreline
But we know that their poor finishing that day prevented them from winning more comfortably

Bye bye kelleher, thanks for your contribution all these years and helping the team won trophies. Won't be able to do it without you sad.gif

18m seems like too cheap for a top class keeper like him.

Well Kelleher still left 1 year only on his contract, so you either sell him for lower price or lose him for nothing next summer. Brentford want new GK after Bayer Leverkusen signed their GK.

Which one should we give up to lower Florian Wirtz price? hmm.gif

Harvey Elliot could compensate their loss of Wirtz while Quansah for replacee Jonathan Tah after Bayern signed him.

Elliot already surplus since Slot rather plays 4231 or if Wirtz comes will be a 4213...
and since there's of cos no news on any new CB incoming...why want to let go another one when got not enough...

Why not both to bring the overall transfer value go down even further? Quansah is really not reliable. He must go and we need a new CB, possibly 2.

basically in short FSG is still stingy... and the sell to buy narrative still continues... whatever money not used during last transfer windows all irrelevant...
also throwing quansah to leverkusen is like an insult to them...more apt to go somewhere like wrexham...

anyway... again...until there is definite movement for a CB... quansah still remains a valid backup...

elliot meanwhile will only get playing time if one of the front 3 doesn't play...which is not very often...no longer able to slot in behind salah etc due to dual pivot...

Got rumours saying both of our bids for wirtz are rejected, including the 130mil euro one. Seems like this week will be a make or break week. If 3rd bid still fail, then unlikely can get wirtz sad.gif

the main issue from what i read is more on the upfront payment... which of cos means a higher transfer fee...
iirc leverkusen asking for something like 80m upfront...then balance via 3yr installment or something...
but knowing FSG they probably want to give 10m upfront and balance paid off in 50yr installment...

There are also rumors about his ACL injury. It reminds me of Nabil Fekir.

Anyway, if this transfer doesn’t go through, might as well drop 150mil to get Isak.

Personally, I think 130-150mil is too expensive. City getting both reijnders and cherki for less than 100mil combined, very smart buying there.
