Chiesa deserves more playing time

Still not convinced though, Brighton should've played Welbeck from the start and the end result could've been different. Big save by Alisson, he is just that human wall that defenders can count on.

Glad to also see us going for the kill in injury time instead of running the clock down, although it didn't materialise.

Loved that the fans started singing Chiesa's song, sort of urging Slot to play him. I think we should just sub in Chiesa for Ekitike, Isak is so peripheral at the moment.

Trip to Spurs will be the real test, they are coming off good result in Europe too.

Watched the game for 75' before i KO to bed.

ekitike is definitely more blend into slot's team than isak but he was wasteful at time, best signing of the window.

we seems to play slightly more direct and it works much better than possession tiki taka style.

konate was finally good last night, it was until gomez injured and szobo move to rb, our play seems to lose the tempo and control and exposed atb.

lastly, our almighty salah is as hungry as ever, he finally looking to pass instead of shooting blindly, and our play upfront alot smoother. no more heroic act from the players and more teamwork.

So Isak was jumping to head the ball with VVD next to him. next minute, VVD was running forward to offer supporting option for Salah, Isak was still jogging around.

Isak came on as sub btw while VVD played for full 90mins... If you cant make the run forward after defending, you dont deserve to start. Ekitike should start ahead of Isak.

TIL ekitike is muslim...means isak better start finding form by end feb cos puasa start...
