Good thing is Slot subs "seems" to work except Nunez. We need to regain the arrogance of early season and be more ruthless. Salah will be a marked man till the end of the season, so it is important that the others step up and why not try Chiesa who other teams had no chance to study his plays yet?
I will be bitterly disappointed if Chiesa Elliott and Gakpo don't start next game. Possibly Endo too.

So those who say Salah Trent and VVD can leave this summer, think again. Salah has a good 2 years in him at the very least. VVD can still play top tier and his leadership on and off the pitch is crucial. Those that mock Trent for his defending, we definitely missed his assists and runs down the right in the last 2 games.
Tie them down at least for 2 seasons.. if next season they turn out crap at least we can still get something in transfer fee. The one who can probably go is Robbo, imagine he doesn't have a single assist this whole season.
I hope after spending close to nothing last summer and this Jan, FSG can at least make 100m available for transfers. If we win the league it is imperative to strengthen because City have already reinforced in Jan and will surely add 1 or 2 more in the summer. We can't rely on them not turning up to the races for 2 seasons straight

Any dropped points by Arsenal will rightly be celebrated here, but that does not mean that we should not go out and do our part and get it sealed up as early as possible.

Conor Bradley was always going to be 2nd choice if Trent stayed so nothings changed on that. I think he can provide much stiffer competition to Frimpong especially if Frimpong gets integrated slowly into the team and acclimatise to the league. Bradley still young and his injuries a bit concerning, that's why we went for Frimpong who seem to really want to join us and at a very reasonable fee.

If MU with no CL income and also no European football next season can trigger 62mil release clause for Cunha and 30mil release clause for Delap, I'm sure Liverpool can pay 100mil for Wirtz.

First half verdict, Ekitike Wirtz and Frimpong looking good, Konate outstanding, Szobo Ali as usual. Salah very quiet, I think need more chemistry with Frimpong on the right.
Gakpo poor, Jones invisible. Whoever replaces Jones in the 2nd half will be an upgrade.
Hope to see Macca and Endo in the 2nd half. And it would be a huge indication of his involvement this season if Rio comes on.
