That's why from the photo i posted earlier and even getting so close to the tower via Tobu train like this
user posted image

I don't really feel it higher than KLCC and even the Guangzhou Tower which this tower surpassed.

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Mar 22 2012, 10:39 PM)
A bit disappointing on Tokyo Sky Tree.

634M tall building ....Actual tall just 450M.....From 450M tall onward all are TV broadcast Antenna. This means Shanghai Financial Observation deck still the highest in world 474m

Added on March 22, 2012, 11:20 pmI'm not sure about Osaka but in Tokyo, the only Money changer I saw during my 7 days there is inside the airport ! I don't see any money changers in Tokyo haha. Anyway, To my surprise, RM is prominently listed in that Haneda airport money changer!..well bad rate for sure
QUOTE(dasoulz @ Mar 22 2012, 10:43 PM)
Guys, quick question. are money changers easily available in OSAKA?
will like to change USD to Yen directly in Japan rather than changing USD to MYR then only to Yen to avoid money changers in Malaysia earning twice from me.

Going to Nikko is not expensive. It's just 3600yen for the free pass. Anyway, you are too late to buy the freepass dy - required 4 days b4 visist and online purchase only.

Those Japanese maids.. I regretted not using my portrait lens..the effect will be much better wth bokehlicious background haha

The curry rice I tried twice. Once in the Sheap Sukiya restaurant in Shibuya (White rice type) - I think ~ 400yen and another on my last day Dinner at Aqua Mall Odaiba. This one abit like pyramid shape & the rice like nasi kunyit - Well I the taste OK-lah as Japanese rice damn yummy wan..but the curry almost similar to the Taipei Curry rice..the dark coloured type. Not spicy at all. This one wth big piece of fried pork/chciken cost 680yen in Aqua Mall FC (Level1)

Using spoon and fork to eat rice....People look at  it already know you are ''Gaijin'' already.

Japanese Eating culture :
Eating rice and noodle also using chopstick only.

Drink Sup is grap the bowl up and slurp it.  totally no spoon.

Just buy those cup noodles from nearby 7-11, Family Mart, Lawson or even Aeon Superarket (I found AEON giving the most competitive rate but they are not 24hrs)

Proper Lunch/Dinner

Shinjuku -For Noodles & small choices of rice. Try Sanko Near Shinjuku Post Office & beside the Oval high rises district. This is like no frill concept. You can choose plain Udon & thereafter choose the tempura as topping. Or you can choose set.. You can even get the rice wth mince pork for only 200yen here!!

Right now, If you can, even a fleece jacket during day time also can. Avg day time temperature ~ 8C till 14C. Very nice temperature. If below 5C, probably 2 layer i.e a sweater & fleece jacket or one layer of Down jacket. Also below 5C (rarely this time except windy night) get ready wth a glove & scalf/buff too
QUOTE(JunLing31 @ Mar 26 2012, 11:58 AM)
