Nice , ive been checking everyday but stock never available

I’m actually quite tempted…. Since my iPad Pro 12.9 is already nearly 3 years old, but it’s already too much computing power for the web browsing that I do… might just get the battery replaced and continue using it…

Yeah. iPad Pro should be still very powerful even after 5 years of usage. Especially if urs is at least M1 chip and above.

I’m pretty sure mine is at least an M1…

then certainly can use for more than 5 years or even 8 years easily.

My iPad Pro 12.9 M1 still very good performance after 3 years plus, I wonder how much is battery replacement?

In Singapore, it’s $179

Should be around RM800 i think, last time i replace my 2018 ipad pro battery was RM799. And for ipad, they will replace whole new refurbished ipad for u instead of replacing the battery. And the replacing unit warranty last 3 months.

That was 1.5 year ago. I just check apple website just now, it estimated RM555.

Where did you replaced the batteries? Machines and Switch don't repair iPads or replace the batteries.

Hope that once Apple TRX opens - that outlet can replace my iPad battery.

Im using the apple website to arrange the appointment last time, and the outlet i choose was thunder@conezion putrajaya, i think switch & machines outlet was available also if I remember correctly, not sure.

And yes, they dint repair ipad or replace ipad battery, they directly exchange to new refurbished unit. For battery issues, ur ipad battery health must below 80% or ur battery swollen.
I paid RM799 last time and they exchange my old ipad with a new refurbished ipad.

Hmmm..refurbished iPad with 3 months warranty. Sounds good, as Apple refurbished product quality should be ok.

They exchanged with the same model and spec?

I had that experience with an older iPad … refurbished item, but somehow the battery life didn’t last as long as I remembered. I ended up gifting that iPad to my maid, and she’s still happily using it.

I’m hoping they’ll actually replace the battery this time. Otherwise, since I’m already out of warranty, I’ll try 3rd party.

I had my old iPhone 6S battery replaced at a flea market in Melbourne (Queen Victoria Market) and the guy did a top job.

I also remembered that Apple did not replace iPad battery rite only do replacement.

Thanks for info. Apple claims to be doing good for the environment but will not repair ipads or Apple Watch in Malaysia.

Will stop using ipad and Apple Watch once my units dies......

any using 3rd party keyboard??? i thinking to use ipad pro as my laptop since i never own a laptop after my company provide me with a laptop. usually just for basic surfing browsing and and some paper work to record my daily transaction.
