Funny thread. Actually what's the issue?

Just buyer preferences. Some just like a photo phone with bare min requirement, surprisingly the capture speed is so freaking good that it outperform Samsung. No shutter lag and when capture fast moving object, it's still damn clear.

But yea, some ppl chasing spec and GSM, then this is not for you. Not everyone has the same requirement. Leave it be and we as consumer should be glad we got so many options. But I do agree the price for Huawei seems at a very hard to accept point.

Huawei watch on the other hand, fanstastic. Long battery life, solid build and looks great for formal attire.

I will not buy Huawei products anymore. I preordered the Pura 70 Pro and experienced a camera issue they couldn't resolve. They also didn't allow for a refund or a one-to-one replacement, giving numerous reasons. I visited a Huawei service center in China, but they couldn't help because of a different OS. In Malaysia, I went to several Huawei shops, and when shaking the Pura 70 Pro and Ultra, the cameras made a rattling sound. My phone had the same issue, but they said it was normal. In China, they told me I could request a replacement if I was uncomfortable with the sound, but in Malaysia, they insisted it was normal. In China, the Pura 70 Pro and Ultra had only a slight sound when shaken, unlike the ones in Malaysia, which sounded like something was loose inside.

Additionally, the price of the Huawei Pura 70 Pro dropped in China, and they refunded the difference. However, when I called Huawei in Malaysia, they said no such policy existed. It's frustrating because I preordered the phone, and within two months, the price dropped by RM1k, yet they didn't offer any extra warranty or free accessories. This really doesn't make sense. Speechless

Huawej doesn't care outside of China right now, treat international as second class. A lot of stories like yours. Even the updates for P40 for example, international version very far behind.

I can't accept their very poor service. It was so bad that I had to ask a friend to help to give Huawei manager email and cc him in the email. The next day, someone reached out to me, but in the end, they couldn't solve my issue. I checked on XHS, and it's not just Malaysia, the UK, China, and many other countries are also experiencing issues with Huawei's after-sales service. I really don't understand why the service is so poor. If I know it, 100% wont buy it.

After this experience, I will completely give up on Huawei products. I used to praise Huawei products and told my friends that I would switch to Huawei, but their marketing and after-sales service are terrible.
