i notice they move from shoplot to shopping mall or petrol station kiosk, the price however still higher than mixue

let me share my experience with mixue, real one no tipu and happened a few times and with different mixue branches

got a few times, i wanted to drink pearl milk tea, and i know mixue got cheap pearl milk tea rm4.90 compared to tealive rm8

so i happily went to mixue to order my pearl milk tea, and guess what? no stock for pearl milk tea, only lemonade available LOL, so no choice have to go nearby tealive order

not happened once, but a few times already, and different branches, and PJ area, the only time i managed to order a pearl milk tea is a branch in alam damai, and thats the only time i drank their pearl milk tea

their business model is a huge mess la really

I think many duwan potong kaki by them. Rather go to oriental gopi for fuller experience. And now many selling boba too including mixue. Boba ice cream some more. Tealip is passe.

Because they dont vet their frachisee applicants. Any rooney also can get.

tealive used to be super long queue anytime before covid. Price also like around RM3-RM4 per drinks.
Now price reach RM7-RM9, everyday like VVIP lane.. no queue or i should say no buyer.

Malaysia market still their bread and butter now.

I remember back in year 2018 they enter China, i think they couldn't fight with Xi Cha and Cha Gee.

I also notice their business not so crowded like before

That's the thing, most items out of stock are the best sellers. I don't have the internal numbers but selling a big size lemonade for RM3, confirmed very thin profit margin if any. Average check per person is around RM5-6 judging by average selling price of their beverage hence really a very big volume of covers to make the business sustainable, not every location can command such crowd consistently.

i wonder how is chatime, hardly see anyone buying it now.
