Rize waiting for Fed quantum of cut tonite

Why would it be drastic? Have other banks FD and savings promo dropped a lot since FED cut?

RIZE also has a history of no more than 20 bp cut each reduction.

If there is a big rush of transfers out tmr, dunno if their creaky system can cope, based on past experience.

Yup. Another possibility is funds transferred out successfully, but hanging somewhere, and didn't arrive at destination bank.

Disappointing Rize

Rize is getting smarter. Can't blame them for not overpaying.

5% is only applicable to first 25k right? And only applicable for October. After October, drops to 3.6%.

I transferred 11k this morning, np.

But I and others have had security checks before, the amount doesn't matter. Sometimes 50k goes thru as per normal. Sometimes it works if the amount is split into multiple transfers.

What to do? I transfer out 1 day earlier for time sensitive fund requirements.

Didn't know there are restrictions for non -Muslim to open account with Islamic banks

Can it really be controlled, where the card is used, and whether can determine if used only for halal products?

Boost 5% ends today, tomorrow 3.6% only?

I faced this problem today. Hadnt used the app for a week so was unaware.

Got panicky, called support, and they advised to turn off Developer Options.

How might turning this off affect other apps, if any?

Rize could at least have advised us in advance by text of this potential issue, as I doubt many of us need to access the website regularly.

Anyway, I have decided not to put too much spare cash in Rize in future. Could be stuck for liquidity when things like this happen

Banks normally schedule on off-peak hours e.g. late at night, or early morning, no?

All the other Rize maintenance listed are off-peak. This one is special. Maybe they want to test systems at peak time as well?
