QUOTE(Kaya Butter Toast @ Apr 17 2024, 11:39 AM) That's impossible. This. If withdraw merely to save interest, then that is the biggest mistake ever too. Saving interest is by pumping extra money not using EPF moneyAnd i don't plan to touch the epf account until I retire. I see most people nowadays withdraw left and right, then blame government why still poor. Withdraw to buy house or renovate means you can't afford that shit bitch. Tone down the lifestyle. You don't need 700k houses and 150k renovations |

I do not understand why people have obsession with the amount in KWSP.
If we are looking at financial security, should we not look at the whole picture instead of just KWSP? Some people can have low KWSP but having much more money floating around in investments and savings. |

Those who are actually doing well financially doesn't need to seek validation from anyone.
Those who are pretentious are the one who needs to seek validation. |

QUOTE(EmpireAnt @ Apr 17 2024, 01:40 PM) because i never went out of my comfort zone. very very bad mind set i has earlier. I am same with you. When I was young, I didn't think about future. Just stuck at comfort zone. then it kind of reach a stage where everything gets a little too late to do something. and i still never dare to go out. now i think of the projection till 55, mati la. haha When 30, I don't have 100k. But now I am nearing 40, got 200k already. As long you don't withdraw, the interest is alot and will be more than your contribution. EmpireAnt liked this post

no matter how much u earn, be discipline. avoid all those non-needed spending. live a frugal life, don't envy don't feel provoke. time will tell and heal. EPD is a mandotary thing, saving rm 50 or rm 100 per week or monthly also consider and needed discipline. put down the ego, and start work partime every night or every weekend. don't sleep as always.
when u are reaching almost 30s or 40s or 50s. u will be scared of the shit because if u are no longer to put the food in the table or to take k urself (IF u tak ade family or wife or children). u will live like a beggar. |
