Hey I've seen people who post it without italics, and it still comes out fine. Someone tell me how to do that. I only use it occasionally when the particular movies is so badass (or bad) that it warrants the use of it tongue.gif

LOL

As for the movies you just watched. I agree with all of 'em. In fact, the more you watch Casablanca, the better it gets. Damn, you just made me feel like watching it again.

I have Sunset Blvd. and Citizen Kane (finally!) on my next-to-watch list. The latter will either be a masterpiece or a disappointment. lol

JFK

Rewatched this again as I remember it was a pretty awesome film. It still is. Nevermind the flaws and inaccuracy in the film, there's bound to be inaccuracies when it comes to factual movies. Credit to where it's due, direction to perfection. The movie runs slightly more than 3 hours and somewhere in the middle it is quite tiring to see Costner and gang interrogating and researching but the last 30 minutes of so in the courtroom is worth the wait. The cinematography is what you'll expect from Oliver Stone, very expertly done and I think that somewhat heightens the movie experience when combined with the thrilling mystery of the JFK assassination.

Haha touche. I'm an unscrupulous fella, guys. When (ok, if) one day I'm making the big bucks I will get all the original dvds/bluray/whatever format its called then. biggrin.gif

Until then, good quality downloads. I no longer get dvds from those pasar malam uncles because why should I pay for something they are stealing? Plus pirated dvds usually have worse quality than my downloads. Even those "blu-ray dvds" that have excellent picture, they sometimes have out-of-sync audio.

Oh I saw Cinema Paradiso. Amazing.

Original or director's cut? The former was wayy better.

What does that even mean? hmm.gif

Black Dynamite was my last movie, wasn't too amused by it but it was entertaining throughout. I like it that they kept the movie under 90 minutes though, a little longer it could have been draggy.

The Lovely Bones. What a mess. What a snoozefest. Practically nothing in this movies works. The acting is subpar all round (maybe except Tucci, who is pretty good), and Purgatory, or the in-between, or whatever that place was, looked like lazily patched together wallpapers downloaded from the net. Unnecessary and totally unconvincing CGI. And some of the worst voiceover narrating you are likely to ever hear. Avoid.
Wait, how old are you?

I watched The Relic when I was a kid, but cant remember much about it. I think it took place in a museum, and had some kind of monster, but that's about it.

Luckily I saw this first. It's on my download list. Just finish watching The Road. Quite a good movie but I kinda expected more.

Losers was just another unimaginative unoriginal brainless action movie. Rubbish.

The movies that I've rewatched lately - Following, Memento, Pi, Godfather trilogy, Field Of Dreams, North By Northwest, Machinist, Total Recall. All were exceptional.
