Lol i play almost 12 hours a day(morning till night) and I only have to take 1 hour or so to charge it once mid day. So technically even if you're hardcore, you don't need an extra batt for psp lol. It should be more than adequate.

Not sure bout Slim batt, The last time i bought my fat batt(2200mAh) was about rm80 if im not mistaken. Even that is overpriced. I was desperate cause my original batt was bloated up =/
Now i use my original batt(modded with 3 AAA batts) as a pandora battery thumbup.gif

Of cause it helps with Switching off wifi and lowering brightness. Remember, the PSP slim is runing with a 3.6v, 1200mAh battery, check it out with urs, the old psp is also 3.6v but with 1800mAh so the battery life spend is longer compare with the slim PSP. Don't worry, it is not fake

For a better solution, u can got to the settings then battery save mode, then turn on the wireless save mode. second, of cause, using UMD games can save more life spend then playing games with memory card.

Hope it helps, and is the answer u want.

I know you're trying to help, but youve got it all wrong >.<
1) First of all, it doesn't matter if your wifi switch is on as long as you don't connect it.
2) PSP slim uses LESS batt power compared to phat therefore it lasts relatively longer even though it has a smaller batt capacity (Slim approx 6 hours game play, phat 4 to 5 hours game play)
3) playing games through the memstick uses less batt power compared to using UMD because the machine doesnt have to use extra power to constantly read the UMD disc and saving it in the cache

^^
