Replaced main board once under Sony due to software glitch but its been serving me well. No problems or whatever since. PQ is good.
Just gotten the S95B for RM4.3k during 2.2. deal last month. I would say it's the best bang for the buck for a 55" QD-OLED tv. This TV was released late on Nov 2022 meaning most owners unit would still be under 2 years Samsung warranty. So getting parts during this period is still relatively easy I reckon.

JZ1000 (wRGB OLED) is great TV for the year but it was released on 2021 so it's coming to 2.5 years+ already. I am not sure getting parts would be easy though if the TV has problems.

i think no harm getting high end older TV, even my LG C9 is still better than most mid range TV today, changed panel mid 2022 due to burned edge so panel is still new. if no more parts but still under warranty, normally they will give u new model TV lol. Not sure how manufacturer warranty works, but if u buy from like senq or harvey, if their warranty, they will let u get new TV based on the insured amount(normally is retail price before discount).

I think electronics and electrical appliances nowadays, i would pay for the extra warranty, like my C9 already kenak panel burn edge after the 2 years manufacturer warranty. not to say my dyson v11 already changed body twice, bought extra 3years warranty sweat.gif all these happen outside manufacturer warranty lolz.

LG C9 is still not bad even by today's standard. 4K 120hz VRR no problem.

Ya, it is best to get the extra warranty cause to replace the OLED panel outside warranty period ain't cheap. I am glad that the new panel works out well for you.

For LG OLED, C2 or C3 is the minimum. A and B series often come with washed down specs and poor HDR brightness.

That A2 does not have HDMI 2.1, VRR and only support 60hz only. Not a great choice to pair with PS5.

the a series oled panel is lousy. Eventho nowadays no blockbuster game can run 120hz but no VRR is really shit. VRR makes 45fps and 30fps game run much smoother.

Oled can be pretty expensive but it still can be pretty good as long as it doesnt kaput.

If wan newer model i think samsung qn85ca is a decent mini led panel with decent price for 55inch. Can find and shopee some shop selling 4.6k, if tat price i prefer s95b tho.

Some games in PS5 has this fidelity 40fps locked mode + VRR which require you to have hdmi 2.1 feature such as 120hz panel and VRR

Example : God of war Ragnarok, Rachet and Clank [List of 40fps console games]

Been playing in this mode- 4k40fps for these games on my LG C1 48" and good experience.

Cannot tahan 1080p (performance mode) playing on 4k TV these days liao sweat.gif

I bought mine in 2018. It's still working great. Can even watch 4K football on the native Astro multi-room app. Since it's an old model, maybe changing the power supply won't be that expensive now.

u7k is consider above average if you don't really have specific requirement. for 65" 3.9k consider a good buy already if budget and space allow.

buy whatever you can afford and feel worth... if to follow others with limited budget like get 55" OLED... you sure crash.
