Torsion beam is far more common than you may think it is.

Having a torsion beam is not the be all and end all.

its not only suspension. Chassis improvement over time makes the difference... wira chassis flex more due to dated design and material metal/alloy/etc

my old honda with double wish bone still tahpau all the current torsion suspension cars

i dont feel much difference except when going through road bumps diagonally.

torsion beam is not lorry/truck, ladder frame is.

Peugeot 3008 also torsion beam but is tuned nicely for comfort. Taking corners is also nice. In doing so, traction control will kick in and cut engine power to stabilize the car.

yeah multilink mostly better handling. comfort is more about the suspension setting
