Ts, the employement contract, labor law, and their HR system is much more protected their people.

If you are local with NS background, you get higher pay. Local usually can get SGD 7,000 per month salary before age 35.

Why??? 12k sgd should equal to how much Malaysian earner...
*
Cannot equal. No way close. In Singapore, you need to produce your certificate too, they will check all the papers.

Very rare that happen - most of them will pay up when they get employ in sg.. bond 4 years i last check- donno how many years now.

almost for sure coz if u fuck up and decided to not study once there .. they can pull back the bond.

But got loopholes sikit.. if u get lazy examples u study account u can switch to easier course like hr management- still get decent grade and graduate.

When ur out - u save two years at least compare vs sg and very likely u get hire since ur from smu.

One of my relatives' children is studying there under ASEAN scholarship. Now the parents are worried their only child would choose to permanently stay there, and that poor kid is under lots of stress with studies...they macam contemplating paying to break the bond.

If compare to china, singapore stress is still very okay.

If the child not from serious chinese family, better send the child to aussie. Much more relax.

If you earn SGD10k nett.... which is about SGD12.5k gross...

You can take home quite a lot for a single person...

SGD2.5k goes to accommodation... which could get you a nice studio apartment

SGD2.5k goes to all other expenses including makan.... which is actually quite nice budget...
Take home SGD5k.... that is RM17k liao....
Imagine every month saving RM17k...  brows.gif  brows.gif
If Malaysia equivalent... if you earn RM20k gross.... take home only RM14k jer....

RM2.5k goes to accommodation... nice studio service apartment...

RM4k goes to all other expenses including makan... which is a comfortable budget....
Can save RM7.5k jer...  sad.gif  sad.gif
That is considering you don't want to vroom vroom... otherwise... not sure got RM5k savings or not unless you opt for <RM100k cars...

studio apartment will cost you around 3.5-4k, 2.5k can't get you much in SG nowadays in terms of accommodation

You compare a job that pays SGD12.5k and in Malaysia is RM20k. Which job is that?
*
healthcare is one field in sg which pays at leat 1:1 , in certain sub-fields of healthcare, it's even more than that . im talking 1:1 means dont convert. e.g friend getting SGD 15k as GP there while msian GP only making MYR 8-13k nowadays. and the skillset of a malaysian GP is expected to be broader

yes, malaysian healthcare professionals are severely underpaid unless youre talking about the big time specialists in top hospitals.

thats why u see nurses going over, doctors going over
because here, msian only know how to ask people to bercukur

how many MYbanggla earn 12.5k sgd?

t10 vs t10. Malaysia is definitely better mainly due to imperfection = more opportunities.

nurses get paid 2-3k myr topkek might as well go do F&B less stress and responsibilities.
i just saw that SG MOH just published recommended wagees for new nurses should be 2.7k .its already more than what msian counterparts are getting before conversion... but of course, they gotta rent and share room with that salary i guess.. each person 400-500 sgd . left with 2.2k to spend ok la

Her pay is 6k because she has 7 years of experience.
Singapore is just a stepping stone for her, waiting for her PR Aussie application approval.

Top tier talents will prosper in Singapore if they are either invited for a position, or are successful in securing one.

Mid tier talents will find the going less rosy but with hard work, can probably climb a couple of rungs up the ladder higher than they would or could back home (ceteris paribus).

B40s will make more money in the short term but their prospects will be limited regardless, with automation and ever stricter foreign labour laws.

My sister was recruited when she score A plus in her A levels.

Sg gov call and offer entry to SMU-

Bond 4 years- never look back- now in google singapore. Making 14k sgd - at age 30 .

Not that hard to find job there coz their guys kesian masuk ns - waste few years of their life .

End up foreign chinese - get ahead of them. Lol

Their gov offer pr and citizenship- easily if ur chinese -and smart.

Quite sad to be sg guys.. macam anak tiri actually. But if ur a malaysian chinese guy- make sure u ace ur exams.

For sure they import u there.

Malaysian study in Singapore, pay international sch fees or not??...why Malaysia school not good enough for your sis?

Singapore offer uni scholarships to foreigners with good results normal wat. But why your sis still choose Singapore? Malaysia uni not good for her too? Cant be money concerns right?

Study for free in Singapore of cos must bond to Sg work there....fair wat. 14K sgd no big deal in Sg honestly. you must see things from their perspective.

My cousin who only got SPM, open 3 food stalls in Sg..now making SGD22K per month. Now he 33. He hire Malaysia helpers to do the tough work of cos...

Sg guys must do army normal wat....but I heard of more stories of Sg people look down on the hundreds of thousands of normal Malaysian workers there...not bully but just their attitude...so I don't think foreigners "get ahead" of them in the vast majority of cases.

Their country, their rules....as a foreigner, just lie low, do work, get paid SGD and be king in malaysia.
