unker think malaysia tax system is broken and need to reform...

otherwise, we will continue poorer and poorer because the tax tier is so high

Those politicians bertaraf menteri need to spend money overseas lah, how dare you ask them cut our taxes?

talking all this are useless, first revised the salary and allowance for all those MP, ministers and consultant with minister status.

Then look into the bloated civil services that we have in the country. Its one of the most bloated one but efficiency leaves much to be desired. Once those are addressed then we can look into how to reform the tax in Malaysia.

not cut, but normallised....

last time MYR: SGD is 1:1.2

now is so much different....

with the ringgit depreciated so much....don't the government should review the tax structure?

technically there is no M40 in malaysia....it is B80 and T20

that's not the right benchmark...

it should be, if one earns say 500K rm, how much is the tax.
if 500K rm but in USD and in America, how much is the tax.
if 500K rm but in SGD and in SG, how much is the tax.

Maybe if you put something like 20% GST then GST can replace income tax la.

But B40 and M40 would riot immediate once they see 20% GST
