healthcare is one field in sg which pays at leat 1:1 , in certain sub-fields of healthcare, it's even more than that . im talking 1:1 means dont convert.  e.g friend getting 15k as GP there while msian GP only making 8-13k nowadays.  and the skillset of a malaysian GP is expected to be broader

i just saw that SG MOH just published recommended wagees for new nurses should be 2.7k .its already more than what msian counterparts are getting before conversion... but of course, they gotta rent and share room with that salary i guess.. each person 400-500 sgd . left with 2.2k to spend ok la
