Samsung... lag.... yes indeed will lag after years of using it. I've never used an iPhone before. The flagship S22, now in its second year, it is starting to lag as old models. Samsung consistently faces camera shutter lag issues compared to iPhone. This remains until now. Honestly, Huawei phones are the best. I've used P20 pro for two years+ without experiencing any lag. If only it supported Google, I would choose Huawei over Samsung.

S22 because it's using Exynos.. it is known for laggy and bad performance but able to last you ~3 years. That's why when S23 launched with Snapdragon, I straight changed so far, 1 year no issues with lags or overheating.

Edit: S22 Series - Using Snapdragon

Because you are storing the image on your internal storage, which is faster, not like an SD card, which is slower. My S23 Ultra with 24k Images, I can even drag the scroll slider "which iPhone doesn't have. LOL" and you will still see all the images with no loading time, and that includes videos, 200MP images and RAW images, which are bigger file sizes compared to a normal image.

As for SD cards, I missed those times. We can expand our phone storage without the need to fork out in advance or delete things when it's full. Also, many people will just get the cheapest option, e.g., Sandisk Ultra, which is rubbish, then complain it's Android slow... Try to get Extreme Series

Why so defensive with all assumptions on how I use my device? Go use note 5 or 8 as mentioned previously.

FYI iphone has scroller as well.

not the case for me, i use iphone then to oppo huawei samsung but will never try iphone again.

but my gf from iphone to oppo honor now back to iphone again.

those say iphone never lag is bullshit 1, my gf phone now also lagging badly already, whatsapp call in, once the screen is locked then it will take a very long time to unlock screen, not instant. and the mic issue... i donno is anc problem or how (already disabled that) when the other party talk and u talk at the same time, the iphone mic is like muted, other party cant hear what she say. google around so many ppl have this issue some even replaced their phone to solve this.

i can see open apps, setting also not that smooth already.
mayb her iphone11promax storage is full already that is why it is lagging.

Can try make 30% empty storage & see whether there is improvement.

If no, maybe RAM cannot cope with current apps already.
- Have to clear all activities in cache. (Close all the open apps / Swipe away all the open apps)

I have used various phones in my life, switching between android and iOS. In the end of the day I still prefer iPhones.

In my experience, Android phones breaks on me much often than the iPhones. Like hardware issue, battery issue etc. I have used flagships, cheap ones, mid range ones, gaming series. Still I would recommend the iPhone if you can afford it.

The only thing I missed using Android phones is how customizable it is. But now iOS starting allowing more customization. Limited yes but it is something to start with.

Also to consider what smartwatch you are using. Cause using a Samsung watch with an iPhone limits the capability of the watch significantly. I have experienced it myself.

Got a info for you, battery health status less than 80%.............. Iphone will slow down.
- Check your iphone battery health status.

It's like power saving mode which make iphone last longer & doesn't suddenly shut down due to battery degradation over time.

Honestly no difference at all. Both are just like mini pc. The only difference is in how Apple managed the seamless interaction between iphone and all their other devices whereas it is still up and down in this area for Android phones in general.

For me, I would just do a backup of data to my pc before changing a new phone. I wont even bother with copying pictures or whatsoever. A new phone is a good opportunity to ditch years old bad habits and start fresh.
