I dont want to register, but my wife work with gahmen. She said I also need to fill it up even if I wont be entitle for the subsidy that gahmen planned to give based on the PADU data.

Depends on what existing info they got on you.

If u have income of RM20k but they only know U declare RM4k, U can get more subsidy in the future.

But if U have income of RM20k and they know U declare RM20k thru LHDN, U may not getting much subsidy later, because U not declare your spending, your location, your commitment, your household etc

if you join gahmen service, they come up with lots of nonsensical rules and regulations but you just need to comply and suck it up.

my sis work in govt service frontliner. MCO time cannot even take a single day off because govt directive. end up accumulation months and months of annual leave. Around 2022 unfortunately got into an accident and have to take medical leave, took some time to fully recover more than 3 months, so she also consume her annual leave on top of the medical leave. Then you know what happen, govt just take back her COLA for the 3 months, saying that the rules states any leave taken more than 3 months not entitled to COLA. Masa Covid tak dapat cuti terus 2 tahun, now just want to take extra leave also kena cut salary

Before end 2024 confirm kena.

I feel like this isn't emphasized enough. PADU is not just about subsidy and handouts. PADU is THE government consolidated database. It gives the government a single view of a particular citizen from all the various data sources within the government. 

Eventually, ALL government services will use PADU to integrate citizenship data. Think JPJ, JPN, KPDN, KPM, KKM...all government agencies and services.

The next time you pay assessment rates, PADU data will be used.

When you want to bid for government contract, PADU data will be used.

When you want to register a birth or death, PADU data will be used.

When you want to apply to travel (passport, visa etc.), PADU data will be used.

When you want to access public healthcare, PADU data will be used.

When you want to go to public schools or education, guess what, PADU data will be used.

Every single government ministry, agency, apparatus will use PADU to engage with you, the citizen.

This is also another misconception or misunderstanding about PADU.

PADU does not store* your data.

* Your data already exist with all the relevant government agencies.

PADU seeks to Validate your data to reflect the latest changes.

If you're worried about leaks, then you're worried about all government data everywhere. Not saying it doesn't happen but it is what it is.

It is not data entry, it is data Validation.

I'm not from IT, but from my experience, with their what seem so outdated system/design/server.. should make it 1 year, but they gave 3 months

Hope not more than 2m will register, buys time for them to make it proper and stable..

There is PADU and there is MY Digital ID.
PADU is easier to daftar because can do at home or kopitiam.
But MY Digital ID have to apply at Putra Jaya / Cyberjaya / Bukit Jalil.
Really stupid implementation.
If I stay in Kuantan / Segamat /Pontian or other remote places like Sabah Sarawak, I have to purposely go to Putra Jaya / Cyberjaya / Bukit Jalil to daftar. F*CK implementation.

Doesn't make sense. Submitted data need to *store* at a database, ready to be use/validate. Many have concern about the security of the data and how it will be use by gov. Implementation is always the achilles heel of our gov when we have people in the positions based on political appointment instead of skill sets.

Also, a lot people end up in Myanmar, forced to scam others because of "trust me bro".

is it consider register if the form all completed, but not yet verify IC? I failed at verification step. Popup notice ask me go to physical counter to verify.
