Ok. So what the original post does not mention is that the ice cream vendor has a police report pasted on his van saying that he had an altercation with some drunk indians before, so he don't want to sell to them.
Not all Indians drink. I don't drink and have never done it before nor do I plan on doing so. Like that mean all Malaysians are crooks and conman and take bribes since some Malaysians have been caught doing it before. From a social or ethicial point of view, memang this guy teruk la.
However, he has had some "trauma" so he might be cautious. Probably the people he had a fight with refused to pay after taking the ice cream. What he could have done is put up a sign saying pay first then only he give the ice cream.
I bet you if some indian come up and put an ice cream stall there and sell to everyone, he probably might either say "India curi saya punya income" or he might even get rid of his policy of "No Indians".
Edit:
Apparently the ice cream seller has apologised in another video. And MIC was invloved. If only they could be more proactive in the bigger matters affecting indians.

QUOTE(cckkpr @ Feb 13 2024, 02:18 PM) The ice cream seller is also scared as there are some Indian men in the complainant group. Once bitten twice shy. She maxed out the situation and took advantage of it. She win this round. If she come to my fishball store, I also won’t layan her. Troublesome! What the ice cream seller did may not be right, but the reaction does not seem to be apt; "punishment doesn't fit the crime". Actually the one that really maxed out the situation would be MIC. The girl said the guy don't want to sell to indians. She never said boycott the ice cream seller because he discriminate indians. She even posted a follow up video saying the guy said sorry and don't viral the guy. MIC yang sibuk mintak dia buat apology video. Also, she did not hide the truth saying the guy saja tak nak jual; she mention and posted the police report in her video. The original article just conveniently left it out. Again, the guy is not the main issue, its the attitude to blanket ban a society based on a few that is the issues. Also the media telling half truth to get clicks and rile people up.

QUOTE(lurkingaround @ Feb 13 2024, 03:24 PM) . MIC.? Fyi, ....... https://www.astroawani.com/berita-malaysia/...saravanan-52954? - Kenapa Palanivel 'jemput' gangster jaga bangunan MIC? - Saravanan - 28 Jan 2015 http://www.financetwitter.com/2023/07/rm38...rs-scandal.html - 2023/07/27 - RM38-million-cash-200kg-gold-seized - How- MIC -gangster- Saravanan-became-super-rich-in-foreign-workers-scandal Saravanan Murugan, the Member of Parliament for Tapah since 2008, was appointed as the Secretary in MIC Federal Territory by former MIC president Samy Vellu in 1997. He had also served as deputy ministers under Abdullah Badawi and Najib Razak administrations. It was not until 2020 that he was made a full minister – Minister of Human Resource – that came with “golden opportunities”.
Born and raised in gang-infested Sentul, it wasn’t hard for Saravanan to click with the big boss of the Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC), a component party of the corrupted Barisan Nasional coalition. After all, Samy Vellu was the infamous Godfather of Indian gangster in the 1980s and 1990s, who served under the Mahathir leadership during his 22 years iron-fist rule (1981-2003).
When Tamil Malar Daily exposed in 2017 how Mr Saravanan stole from the rental collection of the state MIC building, the then-Deputy Youth and Sports Minister brought mobsters to the media office and beat up its General Manager and staff. The attacks saw journalists and employees of the newspaper company left bleeding, injured and even suffered some broken teeth. ... . Your point? Semua memang tahu about this. If they were to do more to address issues actually affecting indians rather than useless issues like this ice cream issue and robbing as your alleged, maybe they might still be relevant. I am sure the other poster also mean it in sarcasm that MIC is doing their job. FYI, race-based parties should not be relevant anymore, but unfortunately those that exist pull of stunts like this to try and remain relevant. That any existing multi-racial party backing up politician with unsavoury words against other races as well as sidelining or neglecting the sentiments of minority races does not really help moving towards a race-free society. Edit: The Maybach actually meant it. This post has been edited by allomicro: Feb 13 2024, 05:32 PM

QUOTE(EX Unseen Forces @ Feb 13 2024, 05:30 PM) Every malaysian are kind ppl if without alcoholism problem. Aku sokong kalau semua tak "pilih" untuk tak minum. But jangan paksa orang untuk jangan minum. Plus, by your logic, the ice cream seller must have been drunk since he was being unkind to girl first?
