Not clear how the billing works. There will be 2 bills, one from TNB and one from Solar. So the solar harvested will be used first at lower rate before the National grid kicks in? So if I only use all power from solar, there will be no value to bill from TNB? If I harvest more than I use, I still pay for the full harvest?

Cannot. Minimum eligibility to subscribe to this program is rm550 monthly bill

Not sure lah. But whatever it is, your first 300kWh of energy use every month will be more expensive than tnb rate.

300kWh * 0.46 = rm138

Tnb first 300kWh = rm77

Read their FAQ site,

Deposit of rm1500, then they will pasang solar panel on your roof

Then whatever the solar panel generate, you pay at a rate of rm0.46 per kWh.

This is cheaper than tnb highest tariff of rm0.57/kWh.

But rm1500 deposit, consider it burn since u wont dismantle the panels anyways, so dunno how long can ROI

U still have to pay tnb for whatever u use exceeding the solar generation

For a 1KWh usage will save you about RM100 per month. Considering you don't have to pay 20K upfront, which works out to about RM166 per month for 20 years. So not bad lah.

1k kWh usage not eligible to use boss, coz bill only rm460±
