Just today earlier can used for one parking of an office building, then entered the parking of a mall

Then when exiting cannot detect the IC tng at all. Want top up balance, the shop also cannot detect the tng at all so cannot top-up

Ended up need some help from parking management office to help settle


What's wrong with IC tng that can suddenly rosak one at night?

I suspect TNG is purposely obsolete-ing MyKad TNG. It's well known that newer top-up machine will not detect MyKad TNG. It's obvious it's on purpose, when I can top-up at certain toll booths, but cannot top-up at petrol stations.

There's no way it's an isolated case. Others have posted that they cannot top-up their MyKad TNG as top-up machine doesn't detect it.

Well, every tng has expiration date...
not sure abt myKad tng, i would the say same might apply.
Have you tried to register it into tng eWallet and check the Expiration Date for it?

Nope, I already registered on tng portal (NOT wallet) and it says until 2028

Meanwhile wallet says until 2022

Earlier today can used for toll, parking, just few days ago used for LRT also

Lucky mine can top up at kiosk still. I like u sing ic with TnG. So convenient & as a spare backup for my main tngcard

My ic also rosak. I believe its chip thats damaged. I use the ic at airport to register for the face cam also cant.

Maybe just greedy. But it's a fact I can no longer top-up my MyKad TNG at petrol stations using new machines, even though I just entered highway using my MyKad TNG.

IC chipset not reliable.

When renewed passport many year ago, IC chipset damaged, need renew IC then only proceed with passport

my ic is latest version 80k chip also.

i think the mifare module is definitely koyak. my phone nfc cannot detect and also toll and parking no longer detect anymore. my50 pass is burned also i think
