Dredging my memory from the time i was 2" early this century...Walmart had applied for business license in BolehLand but was denied. In 2018 when govt said it was easing restrictions against foreign superstores, they applied again. Nothing but crickets since then. With this kind of atmosphere, no surprise that there's no Costco here

Costco is like Makro. Need to pay for membership.

If we wanna deal with inflation especially food, these are the big boys that can do it…..they can really compete and push down price while maintaining good quality….

Obviously cannot compare. Because their local products does not exists here and vice versa. You are not going to find TIDE detergent here just as they cannot find TROJAN detergent there.

The idea is still bulk purchase through loyalty program.
