Only reason to go to Langkawi is LIMA. Went last year and was an okay experience for me, though was mentally prepared for some discomfort. Cable car was a disappointment, Wildlife park was great for the kids, Cenang was fun.
Probably skip 2025 edition and go 2027 when Malaysia gets the FA-50. |

I like langkawi, book a accommodation next to beach and smoke drink beer eat chocolate from morning till night doing nothing. the only complaint is cig not cheap anymore and 45 star hotel rate pretty high, not cater for mid to long term stay. one can always go thailand if what one want is massage, night life etc. the only problem is most prefer the latter because there are many places in thailand that is equally quiet and peaceful ie choice. everyone treasure choice except .....

Lesser pipu is better for me...
I still like langkawi.. will visit multiple times .. My plan for cuti2... go to beach resort on weekdays not including any PH..rejoiceee |

Went there last year July, Langkawi is deteriorating over the years. - Hotel is expensive, if u compare with Hatyai/Songkhla - Build that Maha Tower is waste of money, nobody is interested on high rise tower with viewing purpose, Dataran Lang with Eagle and cable car is enough as attraction - Pantai Cenang food is very expensive, rip off price, and Pantai Cenang shop is lack of variety march4th liked this post
