the iswara gear shift uses cables for the shifter
there is no mechanical links

all they need to do is disconnect the cables n take out the old shifter mechanism and replace it with the new one n reconnect the cables

if they implement the 70cent increase with subside.. and if the world fuel price still hiking i think most probably 1 litre may ll cost around RM4 by 2010. God where is those genius? Y we r still relaying on 100% petrol/diesel car..

may not be as good as a petrol soft turbo...but then with the amount of money i'll be saving on fuel,...i'm wiling to sacrifice that little omph

there's ppl reali can make tat mistake.. i came across 1 fren of mine tat reali can pump diesel into petrol car..

diesel engines dont use a spark plug but merely the heat of the air in the cylinder
it is injected once the air in the chamber has been compressed and heated up
in actual fact, diesel engines are kindof more complex than petrol
they were the first injection engines
also components are heavier and tougher as the pressure forces that it is subjected to is far greater than that of the petrol engine

diesel fuel is definitely a dirtier fuel as compared to petrol (chemically speaking) as it contains sulfur and other impurities
but fact of the matter is, if you are using a new green engine which is well maintained, the diesel engine emissions will be significantly less as compared to petrol engines

the refinery requirements imposed by the gov for diesel is also getting more stringent so the fuel itself is becoming finer and more environmentally friendly
that, coupled with the fact that the diesel engine itself is a cleaner fossil fuel heat engine, results in a significantly cleaner overall power plant 

actually,...diesel engines use glowplugs to start the engine going when it is cold
the diesel is not mixed with the oxygen and then compressed
the air is drawn into the cylinder and compressed
and then when the piston is at TDC (top dead center) the diesel fuel is injected into the cylinder
the temperature of the air is now very hot due to the compression (PV/T)
...this obeys the standard gas laws
the compressed air's temperature is higher than the diesel's flash point and thus ignites the fuel instantaneously upon injection
diesel has a higher flash point than petrol
which means petrol combusts more easily than diesel
i think the mistake u made here is that u failed to take into account the difference in the compression ratios of the two engines
diesel engines operate at a higher compression ratio
this is one of the reasons why it is more efficient as compared to a petrol engine
the higher the pressure and temperature the system works at (the further away it is from the heat sink and ambient values) the more efficient will a heat engine's operation be
petrol engines have spark plugs to ignite the fuel because the air fuel mixture is not compressed to a pressure which will cause the temperature to increase pass the flash point of the petrol
where as in diesel engines the air is compressed to a pressure which causes the air to pass the flashpoint of diesel so that when the diesel fuel is injected into the cylinder, the fuel spontaneously combusts

hi guys..roughly how much ah to pump air cond gas for an iswara?

you can tune the fuel for lean setting for more better fc but 1.3 carb is already underpowered so better opt for richer mixture thus more power, also due to higher pressure when you accelerate hard from cruising more, you'll feel the power and throttle response comes more sooner compare to normal fpr because the fuel is supplied into combustion chamber faster mar.

Guy.. What spark plug good for 4g13p? My platinium spark plug give up already.. I need recommended so I can buy a better spark plug.

how signifiant performance increase if compare OEM with platinum and platinum with iridium?

the halfcut is 1.5 EFI mirage engine. 4 speed auto. RM3.8k the shop ppl say can use back our manual gearbox.
saga engine blok is RM1.6k dun mix up Gilbert. ^^
