Well fixed deposit is not income too . It would be "double declared" if this kind of saving treated as income.

Interest earned from fd can be considered as income....
Income that provides expenses for those on need.

The to be implemented FSI tax does includes interest earned from overseas too

We think it's not income but PADU think it's "side income".... With all other from UT, TH & CASA.... Which they don't have confirmed information & access....

PADU is designed to closed all these gaps & loopholes...

Some don't have active monthly income but assets rich that generates income $$$$ which equals to like monthly income.... Especially those "poor" states....

Tbh I’ve not made any effort to read up on padu. I won’t qualify one even if retired. But would be interesting to learn something. Did they publish any definitions for stuff like income, loans etc. ? Is padu linked to statute as I can’t find any law on it on Google

IT'S OPTIONAL registration. No law say must register or set punishment, unlike LHDN. So, why declare?

they can access anything. our banking is under Bank Negara. Bank Negara is under MOF (government too). PADU is not under government but Rafizi is a Gov minister.


they should have the part to get information such as : "Please fill in your..."

1. " Oversea bank account : Singapore bank, US Bank"
2. Number of houses in oversea.
please state the country and the number : eg ; Singapore.

3. Income from oversea such as crypto / paypal etc etc

But there's banking rules that forbid PADU from accessing them...

So we need to manually fill them up....

Being sarcastic or not... They do want your foreign banks details too... If possible.... All income from local & foreign...

To make sure only those really2 qualify gets the subsidies $$$$....

My ex boss and his wife , both got free RM100 Ewallets while me and my spouse both unemployed got none.

Because you got no active LHDN account / files..

Many retirees didn't get the rm100 ewallet $$$.... When did appeal.... No response initially.... After pushing & searching high low... Finally gotten the answer..... By then cannot claim....

Both our lhdn are still active.
We still do annual itr every year

PADU now, next month MyDigital ID. MyDigital ID to link to anything even login to Bank app as news said. One ID for all. We can't really trust PADU but MyDigital ID?

Later both is inked together....

Cannot escape from government eyes....

No underreport income & more targeted subsides..... Only those really2 qualify gets the $$$
