I was approached by Celcom Digi to move my main line and sublines / family lines to their new Celcom Digi postpaid 5g plan which they will be launching on 3rd January, 2024.

They are offering me the new Celcom Digi 5g postpaid RM250 plan (RM50 lifetime rebate is given to all existing Celcom and Digi users and the same is offered for new customers if they move to this new plan).

Additional RM30 X 24 MONTHS port in rebate.

All family lines /sublines are offered at RM20 each line (max 6 lines) (50% discount)
Gadget sim RM15 per sim (50% discount)
300mbps free fibre connection
Roaming pass worldwide at 50% discount and many more benefits.

Anyone else got call from them?

You better make sure they are not recontracting you with 24 months

for fibre should be guaranteed 24 months

but since this is "free" i suppose then the fibre is tied to the plan, which will require you to sign 24 months as i cannot imagine them dishing out routers and send technicians only for the customer to port out in 3 months

personally, i am interested though, but sign up apparently need wait till 3/1/2024

They will ask you to sign up for 24 months. If you tie in to a device, you can even ask for a 36 month tie up (if you really want the devices on a cheap).

Oddly they don't offer everything from Celcom and Digi.

I just signed up for DigiFibre and I might cancel that and pay the RM500 penalty just to move to this plan. It does sound cheaper when you have multiple family and devices on it.

Upon checking with my peers and found that they were targeting those users whom had multiple sub lines / family lines and I just say the offer is very attractive. Many whom I know got similar calls or have been approached to switch over to this offer.

It’s time for maxis to buck up else they will loose the race once all maxis subscribers with multiple lines switch over to this plans as you gain big savings by moving over to this new plan from cordon Digi.

This plan feels like an ultimate plan?

RM200 / month (after rebate) technically inclusive RM139 of 300 mbps fibre plan which left RM61 of telco plan that gives all current best spec.
* Exclude SST

The Easy360 device plan macam good too

ADD-ON : Saw this sentence below "* Discounted price(s) displayed are applicable only with 12-month contract."
Does this mean RM50 discount for 12 months only ?

12months is RM10 waive for freedom add ons if i'm not mistaken. Using the plan right now from Digi Postpaid 40, my plan applicable for rm50 lifetime. So the bill should be rm210

Yes. Agree that the "*" is not properly explained. Already walk in to one of the centre to regisgter. That is why i mentioned before, i was not applicable for the extra RM10/RM30 rebate because my previous plan is Digi Postpaid 40. But i am applicable for the RM50/lifetime rebate because i upgrade my current plan of Digi Postpaid 40 to CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 260. If you applied for freedom add ons, you will get another RM10 rebate for 12months contract. If you apply for the RM10/RM30 rebate, also 12months contract. If you plan on using the plan long term, just get the Easy360 device and sell the device later on. But you can only applied for Easy360 is your current Digi plan is more than 6 months and you must enable auto debit for the CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G plan. Those 2 are the requirements for the Easy360 device as been told by the SA at Digi Store Express Wangsa Walk.

So right now your monthly bill is RM210 (exclude SST) ?

After calculating some example under easy360 using Plan 260, macam quite worth to get the plan and device.
The S23 Ultra 512GB example only cost 2.8k

Consider good if current plan is already RM60+ for phone plan and using > 300mbps fibre which probably cost more than RM200/210/260

The 50% off family plan is at RM20 or RM25 , right ?
(original RM40 and RM50 listed)

quite attractive...
i am paying M for RM 409 (including SST) for Postpaid (unlimited data ) + iPhone 14 Pro 256 GB for 36 months contracts + 500Mbps Broadband

if paying around the same amount, I could get a 1TB IP15 Pro Max device already
210 * 1.06 + 185 = 407.6

Any suggestion on which 5G Simcard wifi router works best for this Celcomdigi 5G 260 uncapped speed with unlimited Hotspot? As i know its Max FUP is at 2 TB after which it'll throttle down to 10mbps.

I am wondering its potential what speed are you getting specifically from this hotspot set up?

U might have to check that whether the plan can be insert into Sim Router or not as some has restriction when they detect it is router (exclude some "hacked" probably)

Has anyone been able to sub to this 260 plan?
I've been trying to sub this plan in the past 3 weeks and no Celcom outlet was able to help me. They keep telling me many different reasons why.

Currently, I'm on:
Celcom postpaid Mega 98
4 supplementary lines
300Mbps celcom fibre.

By logic, this plan is perfect for me.
But, they told me:
- supplementary 50% discount only applicable for 6 months
- supplementary only for new numbers
- fibre only for new contract

I had to literally print the FAQ and terms off their website to show them that its not true, yet they keep insisting that I can't get this plan. And the worst is that I've contacted Celcom whatsapp 3 times, a Celcom outlet 3 times, Celcom Cube 3 times and they all gave different answers each time.

To a point where I feel that Celcom are just clueless about this new plan. And the latest info was that the Easy360 plan don't offer Samsung S23 series anymore (yet its still advertised on their website). So I was told to wait for the S24 launch, which I did. After the launch 2 days ago, suddenly they told me the 260 plan only offers certain phone models where the S24 isn't one of them.
