Can try sony G700 and sony HT-X8500. Both not bad to my ears and within your budget. Then I go try sonos 5K speakers. Terus feel the sony no good liao

Simple this. Download Sonos App. Pair both unit Era 300 first.
then pair via bluetooth from TV to First Unit.
When using the ERA 300, input TV output sound as Bluetooth.

Yes, my soft copy Ahem version of movies will tag as Atmos Sound output. Course i am using LG Oled. Not sure about others tv type.
Edit. I specifically only download the Atmos 5.1 version soft copy.

But sonos says otherwise as i remember you need connect to tv with arc or earc for spatial audio. Does it show dolby atmos on your apps when watching the content?

I dont have much info on this. I setup (paired) both Era as Surround Sound in the Sonos App. I get the Atmos sound when playing movies, the best is The Last Voyage of the Demeter near ending part. You can practically hear/feel the rain all over.
Paired to soundbar will disable both ERA 300 forward speaker.

I dont encountered yet. However, per below since i dont connect via Soundbar.

Any Sonos speakers will be delayed when grouped to a Sonos soundbar. The reason is because the soundbar needs to play almost immediately to keep in sync with the TV. Sonos had to develop a low latency, one way, direct 5GHz connection between the sounbar and the surrounds/Sub to keep those all in sync. This connection is low latency, but not robust, and it doesn't do well through walls or floors. Which is fine, because a soundbar, surrounds and sub are all in the same room.

Grouped speakers, on the other hand, can be placed anywhere Iin the home. Therefore, they need a larger buffer, and the more robust 2,4 GHz signal. This is why speakers grouped with a soundbar have an echo. They lag behind due to the buildup of the buffer. With music, i there's no need to sync with the video, so all units in the group are buffered.
