Go Harvey norman and do a sound test on those within your budget. At least can hear it for yourself. That's what I did.

the yamaha one. i fogot its model. yas208 i think
but within that price range.

i think it sounded better than sonos beam. and have subwoofer also.

but go for beam if you want atmos.

No need soundbar. Get Sonos Era 300 x 2 with Atmos Surround sound. Load Topgun Maverick beginning part at carrier deck and you will know.
Course top up sikit from budget.

Edit. No need Sonos Beam Gen 2 to compliment Era 300 as pairing the Beam will disable forward speaker on the Era 300.
